He (Trump) was fighting and continues to fight not only those on the Democrat Side of the aisle who are determined to make the Queen of Mean Hillary Clinton our next President, but also those Republicans and self-proclaimed “True Conservatives.” They want to keep Trump from becoming President of the United States of America at all costs, even if it means sacrificing our children’s and grandchildren’s future to do it. Chief among those “leading the charge,” if you will, has been self-proclaimed “Libertarian” Glenn Beck. Beck who over the past few years has transitioned from being an insightful political analyst with Conservative Leanings, to being a Modern Day Elmer Gantry with a bit of Lonesome Rhodes thrown in for good measure.

Beck has often spoke out in favor of the War on Some Drugs, so in no way can he be counted as a libertarian, small ‘l’ or otherwise.
Lonesome Rhodes was a countrified gabber with Will Rogers-esque senses who created a sensation on TV — it was a movie and Lonesome was played by a young Andy Griffith.
Lonesome got really famous and had a following, even to the point of being raised up as a candidate, until he was exposed as a mentally imbalanced charlatan.
Yeah, sounds a bit Beckish, at that.

That's one of the main reasons for his level of support. The DC establishment is loathed across the political spectrum.

The faux “True Conservatives” in Washington and the RNC might have their thongs in a wad, but many (most?) guy-in-the-street conservatives
have been supporting Trump because of his announced policies on the border wall, muslim immigration, free trade, rebuilding the military, etc.

What is even clearer is that anyone -- for any reason and regardless of their "established political credentials" -- who so hates Donald Trump that they would provide support to the election of whichever socialist candidate the Democrats run neither supports conservative or traditional American values nor can consider themselves a defender/protector of the Constitution.
This is no more complex than that!
Liberal-tarian has no meaning anymore. Progressives call themselves liberal-tarians. Their social views and hatred for Christianity/morality fits right into liberal-tarianism. They are amoral and respect no ethic...progressive.
