Women's Studies departments led to Gender Studies and Queer Studies. The ideology of gender as capitalistic oppression was pushed on naïve impressionable young people for decades.
The politicization of gender has now infiltrated the government bureaucracies and the courts.
Confused and impressionable teenage boys are encouraged to change their gender, mutilate their genitals and take massive amounts of hormones to achieve gender reassignment.
Teenage girls are now told they must be required to have any man who identifies as a female watch them when they undress or use the bathroom.
This agenda is quite simply an evil attack on our society. It is deliberate and coordinated and meant to destroy us.
I could ache for some accuracy. There are very annoying moral problems lurking in the new bathroom brouhahas, but making it sound like reefer madness is going to plant the seeds of doubt towards traditional ideas long after the country has, in practice, capitulated.
Women don’t “watch each other going to the bathroom” now. Stalls are de rigueur for them. Men can, indirectly, at urinals and that’s as close as it gets. Impostors don’t get any closer unless we are talking camera operators, which can be of either sex.

When I was a kid, growing up in the Deep South during the 50’s and 60’s, every public building, bus station, gas station, department store and restaurant had three sets of restrooms, Men - Women and - Colored. Sometimes there were men and women ‘Colored’ separated.
Some restaurants, not all, had separate dining facilities for blacks and whites, if they served blacks at all.
I remember the Greyhound bus station in our local small town had two complete and totally separate snack bar / restaurants for whites and blacks, and two separate waiting room areas for passengers waiting for the bus.
Even as a child I thought this was extremely stupid, if just from an economic standpoint. Building extra restrooms was an expensive proposition, and completely unnecessary and immoral as well.
‘Separate but Equal’ should have died in 1965, but I guess the ‘smart people’ in our universities have resurrected it from the dead.
What will these idiots in ‘academia’ want next? Separate drinking fountains?............................

The operative phrase here is, “does not have the force of law.” This is a cynical exercise in pure propaganda on the part of the Obama administration.

Mothers would sometimes bring little boys into the privacy of ladies room stalls to help them do their business, and everybody understood. Less common, but possible, was for a father to bring a small daughter into the privacy of a men’s room stall.
As you seem to hint, nobody was really safe anyhow; the sense of safety was a fig leaf that depended on good manners being observed in the rooms.

Yes, I hear a lot today about conspiracies or accused conspiracies.
But oddly, thinking people insist on looking at facts and treating situations case by case as their needs arise. The treatment doesn’t depend on whether or not there is a conspiracy.
Going too deep into conspiracy fears can lead to things like Prohibition, or today’s expensive and largely vain drug wars, in which many prophecies become self fulfilling because nobody looks at the roots of the problem, which is a voluntary loss of the love of God.
What will we have gained if we guard our bathrooms, but not our own hearts, jealously?
And in a sense the conspiracy theorists are right, but they don’t finger the correct dramatis personae. The ultimate enemy is unseen; popularly known as the devil. That’s where God makes the buck ultimately stop. People can be forgiven; the devil can’t, and would refuse it if he could.
And the devil is more powerful than any other than God. God never told anyone to allocate bathrooms in a certain way; God told everyone to refrain from adultery and observe the holiness of matrimony where applicable. We might take a look at His primary priorities before we get all exercised about secondary, derivative human artifacts.
Trying to re-explain God’s plan in human terms is simply iniquity. It is not being fair to God.

The large malls have solved that issue with a ‘family’ bathroom, that is in between the 2 regular gender bathrooms.
I have mental scars from the ‘Butch’ PE teacher I had to endure in HS having to check/look that 13 year old girls had showered after PE. Girls that age are very sensitive to smelling bad, there was no need for her to check we took showers, it was her way of getting her jollies before they came out of the ‘closet’.
