Opening bathrooms to whomever wants to go in them has real life altering consequences for women and children. All because some adults don't want their "feelings hurt" What about the feelings and physical well being of this little girl who was choked and almost murdered ?

Politicians and companies that go along with this are just as GUILTY and RESPONSIBLE for what happened to this little girl as the man who assaulted her . They GAVE him permission to go in there.

And women are going along with this. I have a female leftist friend with two daughters who is enraged that America doesn’t want to open up its bathrooms to “all genders”.

But Barky doesn’t care about us Americans...he only wants his way or nothing else...

We have seen an increase of this action since all this bathroom tranny crap has been started by Barky, and it’s only going to get worse...

Police say 33-year-old Reese Hartstirn walked in and targeted the girl, choking her and trying to lock her in a stall.

How could he "try to lock her in a stall" without being in the stall with her?

Laws don’t prevent this, the guy would have still went in there regardless of the law

Laws don’t prevent crimes, they define them

However we should not be opening up the bathrooms like this, only a sick mind would think this was a good idea. Obama was pouring gas on this fire the other day by requiring schools, without any congressional approval, to open bathrooms to whatever the student feels comfortable with.

Less the 0.03% of the population is “transgender” and very few schools have them. But Obama is creating a “solution” for a problem that does not exist.

This is a horrible event, and has beend posted at least a half-dozen times with the same comments. But this perp was a man who looked like a man, not some tranny in drag who wouldn’t have drawn suspicion. He might have attacked the girl with or without stupid bathroom gender access nonesense.

I am not demeaning the horror of this crime or the stupidity of the entire LGBT bathroom issue, but there is nothing in this story that suggests there was anything other than evil intent in the perps mind that caused the attack.

There has never been a problem in the past with this. Why is Obama throwing out this answer in search of a problem.

Never in my life have I seen a person so infatuated with perverts as Obama!

And unless bathrooms have police men stationed in them, they will continue to be areas that predators will troll.

This was a perp. Not going to be stopped by signage only people

This story can be understood from another perspective, one this writer understood too little, even after eight or so years of reading original sources about the two classes of citizenship - the Constitution. North Carolina and Texas are both addressing federal misbehavior by learning about the limits to federal power created by our founders. The federal government ha no authority to control access to bathrooms. In fact all three branches have gradually evolved into the sort of dictatorship guaranteed by Democracy, and the reason our founders created a representative republic.

I have begun to read Federalist Papers, guided by a remarkable former liberal Democrat, who worked through a biochemistry degree as a plumber, after five years or so as an analytical chemist, joined the Army to see the world, and became a Russian linguist in SIGINT, was injured, met a handsome intelligence agent, and, after her injury, went back to school for a law degree, and working as a con law prosecutor for ten years. Lecturing on weekends at schools and church events she discovered her talent as a teacher, teaching the foundations of our Constitution.

Krisanne Hall takes apart the illegality of the Justice Department’s ridiculous threats against North Carolina, every one of her daily broadcast supported by Sam Adams, Jefferson, Hamilton, Federalist Papers, and hundreds of other citations, guided by a remarkable grasp of the true meaning of our architects, and citing the original motivations, mostly drawn from British history. Its time to learn what the Constitution really means and what authority our Constitution actually supports. It is amazing to read that our “States” were intended each to be treated as sovereign states, like England, France, Italy, etc. Read that list of injuries in the Declaration and learn that almost all of those injuries are being repeated today by our overweening federal government.

You can get to the replays of Krisanne’s daily talk from her web site
http://krisannehall.com/nc-calls-doj-bully-bluff/ . Some of her public lectures are on YouTube. Just search for Krisanne Hall. Her just one at the National Press Club explaining law with rare clarity. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9ozaAqmLTFY She lectures at no cost for her presence or travel to groups, including state legislatures, over two hundred and fifty lectures each year. Don’t be put off by her informality. Her grasp of constitutional law is not constrained by fear of losing a cushy job in an AG’s office or big money in a private firm, both of which jobs she has held. Even with her background in Army Intelligence, she is very critical of fourth amendment violations implicit in government network data mining, attacking one of this writer’s favorites, Alan West. She correctly observes that all that spying on U.S. citizens has had no effect, even when the two San Bernardino Jihadis were well known to half a dozen agencies. Whether or not you agree with her, she provides an historical and Constitution context with which we should all be familiar.
