Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump has said Israel should continue building in Judea and Samaria, insisting the Jewish state should "keep moving forward" in response to Arab terrorism.
Speaking to the UK's Daily Mail, Trump emphasized his support for the State of Israel, and appeared to veer away from previous comments in which he declared that he would stay "neutral" on the Arab-Israeli conflict.
Trump referenced the "thousands of missiles being launched into Israel," by Arab terrorists prior to the 2014 Gaza war, asking rhetorically: "Who would put up with that? Who would stand for it?"
He also said he would sharply depart from the policies of the current White House, which has put enormous pressure on Israel to halt all construction - in Jewish areas only - in Judea and Samaria.
Asked if he similarly thought a building freeze was a good idea, Trump responded: "No, I don't think it is, because I think Israel should have – they really have to keep going. They have to keep moving forward."
"No, I don't think there should be a pause," the GOP frontrunner added, while leveling criticism against the Obama administration for its treatment of Israel.
"Look: Missiles were launched into Israel, and Israel, I think, never was properly treated by our country. I mean, do you know what that is, how devastating that is?"
He did repeat his intention to negotiate a peace deal, however, but cautioned he would only do so if he believed the deal would be a permanent one.

Here, Trump is absolutely wrong.
That being said, it is definitely going to happen some time. I don’t know how or by whom, but it is prophesied. And it’s a very, very, very bad idea.
OTOH , we have Cruz, who just enabled $150,000,000,000 dollars to one of the most Israel-hating, terrorist-funding nations on Earth, right in line with Obama.

and as far as Judea and Samaria go...God gave Israel that land as an everlasting covenant...the idea that the USA or the UN or PLO or any other yokels have any right to divvy up what God hath ordained is a great way to tick off the Almighty and unleash a whole buncha nasty stuff.

I agree with Trump. However, if this is what he believes, then he will either not become president or he will be assassinated when he is in office.
The Bible says that ALL nations will come against Israel and Jerusalem in particular. A pro-Israel U.S. President in word and in fact does not fit upcoming prophetic events.

That is absolutely correct. God will cut in pieces all who burden themselves with Israel. The world will turn totally against Israel under the reign of the Antichrist.

Israel is a sovereign nation and nobody has the right to tell them what to do or not do.

Anyone has the right to stand behind Israel and offer them support...and that is what Trump did.
I agree but I don’t want any country outside of our own USA either in my wallet or influencing my government. Israel needs to make their own decisions for the benefit of their own people, and the USA needs to make decisions for only USA benefit. I fully support the George Washington concept of no entangling alliances
