I posted this minutes ago, and it seems to have had its effect:

Time and time again, we have seen entertainment industry leftists deliberately push, poke, and slash the outer edges of the envelope of public civility and good taste, in a seemingly mindless effort to somehow profit from the resulting outrage.

They are continuing a tradition of extreme rhetorical distortion that began in the sixties, and continues anachronistically today in the minds and hearts of these leftist inspired, money grubbing, hypocrites who think of themselves as actors, performers, singers, movie producers, etc.

Fraud and bad taste used in this way, should by all rights denigrate and blacken the reputations and future of those perpetrators. The question then and the variable that might end this kind of execrable behavior is the reaction of the intended audience.

Therefore, let us all add this vile person’s name to the list of those that sink into oblivion, along with the Dixie Chicks, Ralph Nader, Bill Maher, and other fools. Ignore them and their filth.

Yep, kudos to Ferrell. If anything, I think he was a victim of an over exuberant media since every article I read made it appear that he had signed on and it was a go.

Apparently that was not the case at all..........

God bless you. My mom passed away last year, a month before her 88th birthday, but we lost her several years before that.

As to Ferrell, he showed his only conviction is towards money, nothing more. I'd have more respect for him if he had continued with that "project", loathsome as it may be. Could've used that publicity to promote continued research.

Sometimes to get a project greenlighted they do have to convince the studio that some major named star has come onboard. It's why Donald Sutherland is in Animal House. At the time the rest of the cast was unknown, and the studio was balking.

So it is possible that the producers leaked Ferrell's acceptance before it was actually a done-deal.
