Trump has been on a big roll since NY.

Cruz has been collapsing since the Colorado rigged outcome.

Hitlery is mince meat....unless of course the establishment gets their way. You got to hand it to Trump, whether you support him or not, you got to admit he’s exposed the uniparty like nobody else.

I’m adding my vote to the total tomorrow when I vote in the PA Republican primary.

What makes this doubling astounding is that Willard spent millions more at this point in the primary, especially in Florida to take down Newt.

If I’m not mistaken, Mr. Trump is spending only a fraction of what Romney did to boot.

And we all know how we were told that Romney was the only one who could win against Obama. Now we are being told there is no way Trump can win against Hillary but Kasich could.

Impressive. That’s almost as many as Gore won by in 2000.

Yes. In 2012 Romney spent a lot of money on negative ads against Newt for many months ahead of the primary and he refused to go on any conservative radio station down here in Florida. Only Hannity radio show. Many young people did not know Gingrichs record and probably believed the lies Romneys ads put out on him. Fox News also put out a lot of lies against Gingrich and I documented all of them. Romney said his only regret now that he lost is that he did not reach out to more Hispanics. The establishment thought they could do the same thing to Trump in 2016 but it is harder to lie about who Trump is and the establishment has screwed so many people they are not able to run anyone and and win now. One major thing I learned in ‘12 is that whoever tries to win for the conservatives had better have major money and that is what Trump has.

Yep! Romney was afraid that Newt had a ton of momentum coming off his win in South Carolina. Also at that point in the race, Newt was the star of the debates with his “Trump-like” disdain for the MSM. Willard put a fortune in chips on the line in Florida to stop the bleeding. Unfortunately he succeeded in buying the nomination.

In the general election millions of republicans stayed home, partly due to Mitt’s anti-conservative bent.

Exactly and the one similar bit of data from Romney vs Newt and Cruz vs Trump ...
Glen Beck was leading the attacks in both cases.
Beck was constantly calling Newt a “Progressive”

Its sounded strange in 2012...now it sounds familiar.

Majority Threshold 'Unfair' in G.O.P. Nomination Process, Donald Trump Complains #24
Posted March 20, 2016 2:12:47 PM PDT by nhwingut
Trump has far more delegates than both Romney and McCain at the same time in history. The GOPe always, along with media allies, convinces all to drop out for "the good of the party" and coalesce around the leader. Now they're doing the exact opposite.

Further, Trump is on pace to have more votes than McCain and Romney COMBINED.
