Paladino: Trump ‘Absolutely’ Should Launch Third Party Bid If Denied Nomination
http://www.nystateofpolitics.com/ ^

Businessman and Republican activist Carl Paladino in a radio interview Monday said Donald Trump “absolutely” should launch an independent bid for president if he is denied the Republican nomination at the July convention in Cleveland.

“Absolutely,” Paladino said in an interview with WCNY’s The Capitol Pressroom. “If cheated, you fight back. That would be the end of the Republican Party, by the way.”

Paladino, a Buffalo real-estate developer and prominent Trump supporter in New York, was the GOP nominee for governor in 2010. In the interview, Paladino blasted what so far has been a whisper campaign to potentially nominate House Speaker Paul Ryan at July convention should the remaining Republican candidates not hit the required number of delegates to clinch the nomination.

Paladino and Trump should leverage all the upstate, staten Island and Long Island Congressman that they will run them out of office with a third party run.

Forget that.

The Donald will NOT spend a penny of his own money.

He wouldn’t even pay for Sarah Palin to speak in Wisconsin and just threw away all the votes there.

He loves money and he intends to keep it.

Trump outperformed at 35%. Trump’s not going to let any outsider run his campaign like Glenn Abdul Beck.

You mean Wyoming. I get it, they both start with a “W”, but get your facts straight.

WY, CO, WI were all predestined losses.

Let’s see how smug you are tomorrow night.

By the time the convention rolls around, it will be too late to launch an independent campaign. He would have more missed the filing deadlines in many states. Plus, as mentioned, no way he really wants to spend his own money. At least not as much as it would take to run a fall campaign. His little adventure has gone much further than he anticipated. Best case for Trump is he loses the nomination and can spend the rest of his life claiming the presidency was stolen from him.

I’d go with Trump.

Maybe Trump could win a three way, if he takes more than half the Republican vote with him, and the democrats have a falling out between Sanders and Hillary.

I’m probably voting third party in the future anyway, unless and until the Republicans act to clean up their primary process.

Might as well. He can’t split the Republican base any more than he already has. So do it already.

Only one splitting the base is the Bush lawyer who did not have the conservative honor to drop out after losing the south.

Keep telling yourself that while Trump continues whine and whine. . . . And whine some more about how unfair everything is.

Heck yes! Let the republicans fall into the abyss.
There is no way I am voting for anyone else if Trump has the most votes overall. This is not Stalin’s Russia.

The way republicans and RNC are acting, they deserve to go to h-e-l-l. There is no worse crime in politics than denying the voters.

Maybe Trump could win a three way, if he takes more than half the Republican vote with him, and the democrats have a falling out between Sanders and Hillary.

In a three-way, the smart play would be to vote for the non-Hillary leading in your state. Trump would take part of the northeast, Cruz the mountain states and Texas, both could split the south, and Hillary takes a bunch of states. Then, the House of Representatives votes . . .

I don’t want Trump to go 3rd party or Independent.

I want him to fight the corrupt GOPE with all his might.

If he loses, he should simply thank his supporters, announce he’ll do no more interviews, not endorse any candidates, and return to his businesses.

His absence will speak volumes. The GOPE will choke on their POS nominee as Trump supporters stay home.

Look at yourself. On the same side as Obama, MSM, The Muslims. La Raza, UN etc. A smart man would have asked why conservatives’ enemies would be trying to Stop Trump while helping Cruz. It does not compute with what you were told obviously and it cannot be reconciled with who is on your side and their alignment.

Can Trump make the GOP an official third party in any of the states if he gets them down to a certain number. Tancredo almost did that to the 2010 CO GOP.
