Cruz is the Smartest: The Delegate Hunt (John Batchelor--AUDIO)
The John Batchelor Show ^ | 14 April 2016 | The John Batchelor Show (audio link)

AUDIO LINK (40 MINUTE SEGMENT)

“Cruz's roots: Asked by (Anderson) Cooper if he was more a product of the Northeast or Texas, Cruz chose the Lone Star State.

"When I went off to Harvard Law School my dad jokingly referred to it as missionary work," Cruz said.

Cruz had completed his undergrad studies at Princeton University by then, becoming the first member of his family to attend an Ivy League school.

"To be admitted to Princeton was an extraordinary thing," he said. "It was a world, frankly, that I didn't know. When I arrived there it was a scary place. You had a lot of young people who were the children of CEOs and titans on Wall Street and people with fame and wealth and power."

_____________

Mr. Trump’s biggest challenges are five well-educated congressional districts near or including Manhattan — the 9th, 10th, 7th, 12th and 13th Districts.

The 12th District’s white voters, which includes the Upper East Side, are the best educated in the country; the 13th, which includes most of Manhattan north of 96th Street (but not Columbia University), ranks fifth. Mr. Trump has tended to struggle in areas like these: He lost the affluent white wards on Chicago’s north side to John Kasich.

Indeed, the model estimates that Mr. Trump will lose several of these New York City districts to Mr. Kasich or perhaps Ted Cruz. Whether that happens matters a lot: New York City may not have many Republicans, but it has a lot of congressional districts. If it turns out that Mr. Trump is weak here, it could prevent him from getting much more than 80 delegates, even if he’s easily clearing 50 percent statewide.

But Mr. Trump could do better here than one would guess from the area’s demographics. These areas are heavily Democratic — it’s possible that the Republican voters in these areas are nothing like the overall population of white adults (the model uses census data for non-Hispanic whites, since Republican voters are overwhelmingly white).

The A bomb (put together by incredibly smart people). Ended the war in the Pacific.

Smart Admirals, incredible navy men, marines and soldiers won the Pacific. (With a good dose of luck)

So delegate hunting is equated with being smart?

More like desperate.

I think Ted Cruz will do better than expected in Upstate NY, especially if 2nd Amendment patriots find out that Ted Cruz is the strongest politician we ever had to fight for our 2nd Amendment.

Ted Cruz was the lead counsel for Washington, D.C. v. Heller, which saved our 2nd Amendment.

However, ONLY DemocRATS believe they’re the smartest; most normal people to not agree with that assessment..

Several Dems have already acknowledged Cruz’s intellect and debate skills.

>> This should be fun.

Fun in the sense that you support Batchelor’s open boarders attitude? Or fun in believing which NY districts are the best of breed?

He’s open to renting to boarders? Will he provide meals, too?

Batchelor branded proponents of immigration enforcement as pathetic, paranoid xenophobes.

Time for some moral consistency.

If you like Cruz’s double agent trojan horse delegates who would vote for Hillary if Trump wins ...

Then?

You should admire Hillary’s ‘brilliance’ with super-delegates.

Besides:

HOW TO BRIBE DELEGATES ... LEGALLY !!!

http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3420371/posts

Washington Post ... 4/11/16

‘Under regulations established in the 1980s, delegates cannot take money from corporations, labor unions, federal contractors or foreign nationals. But an individual donor is permitted to give a delegate unlimited sums to support his or her efforts to get selected to go to the convention, including money to defray the costs of travel and lodging...’

[snip]

‘Smart people tend not to protest because it does no good’

And some smart people rise to an intellectual challenge. But I have to admit — Cruz supporters are ‘uber-partizan’.

So let me get this straight. The manager of Mar-a-Lago---as an individual donor---could assist delegates WRT the resort's amenities and food choices.

Donald's private pilot---as an individual donor---might let degates know when the Trump plane is leaving for Palm Beach.

Maybe the producers of The Apprentice and Shark Tank---as individual donors---could open up some TV spots for delegates.

Would be nice to be a Trump delegate, wouldn't it?

If it did, man... I had no idea Kim Kardashian was so smart...

Based on her Wikipedia entry, she earned her millions herself. So she is a lot smarter than you might guess from her public persona.

Stupid people do not become rich.

That is an utter fallacy.

Stupid can and DO become rich.

’ ... unlimited sums to support ... ‘

And Soros could give them millions in walking around money via proxies or perhaps in person as I understand it.

Why has Ted Cruz fallen from 3 down to 18 down in the newest FoxNews poll? What changed? Answer that and you'll know why Cruz is finished.

The result was not good. You have to remember, stopping Trump will cost these people the party, what good is a party with no voters? Can’t win an election without voters. That becomes a major problem

I listened to it live and it was not that good and was childish at times with his Roger Stone talk to Monica. Look what’s going on here. Batchler is a rino gope who is for anyone but Trump. If Bush was in Trump’s position, Batcher would be singing a different tune. Batcher would be saying Cruz is a stupid, stpid man who has no path and should drop out. Trump will get the 1237. If we don’t support him we will have President HRC. Give Trump a chance.
