When asked about Trump as the GOP nominee in November instead of Cruz, registered voters are split between Clinton and Trump, though the race is tighter: Thirty-eight percent would vote for Clinton and 36 percent would vote for Trump. Another 16 percent would vote for a third party candidate and 8 percent would abstain from voting.

Don’t get too excited. This isn’t a head to head. This assumes a third party that takes almost 20% of the vote.

Let’s see what the poll looks like when Trump sweeps all 5 states and Manafort steals the delegates back to Trump.

I’m guessing that sanders will go third party and take his millenials, snowflakes and cupcakes with him. That would take a chunk from the hildabeast.

Problem is, I am in Liberal Lala land of Los Angeles, and the MAJORITY of DEMONRATS, Working Class, under $100K per year are SOLIDLY BEHIND TRUMP. The Welfare Class is not and they make up 1/3 of the State. I Still say Trump Wins California by a Landslide in the General.

Possible but risky. What if Sanders doesn’t go third party?

Question: What’s a cupcake?

I hope you’re correct. I would be happy with either Trump or Cruz as President. Just as long as it isn’t Madam President.

Sanders by definition IS a third party independent who is poaching on the dimocrat primaries. In that sense he has been running a third party candidacy all along.

I have picked up the term "cupcake" from other freepers who use the term interchangeably with "snowflakes". Both terms refer to the college students who can't take the strain of seeing the word "Trump" in print and have meltdowns over it.

Depending upon your perspective, you could argue that Trump is also a third-party candidate. He certainly doesn’t fit the stereotype of a GOP candidate.

Thanks. Hadn’t heard that.
