Sens. John McCain of Arizona and Kelly Ayotte of New Hampshire will spend their summers under attack by underfinanced tea party opponents. In Nevada, the reemergence of Sharron Angle who infamously blew a chance to defeat Senate Democratic Leader Harry Reid in 2010 means the GOP's hand-picked candidate for the open seat, Rep. Joe Heck, has a fight on his hands to get to the general election. And Republicans also are fretting over primaries in Colorado, Indiana and Florida, as well as the fate of a former leader of their campaign arm.
It's a nuisance the party could do without. Republicans already have to defend 24 seats, many in Democratic-leaning states, and anxiety runs high that having Donald Trump or Ted Cruz at the top of the ticket could badly damage down-ballot hopefuls.

So the GOPe is scared and worried about We the People, about damn time and time for them to GO!!!
To the political elite we aren't the citizens who they are elected to represent.
We are nothing more than an unwelcome nuisance.
I will absolutely vote against Johnny Isakson here in my state of Georgia...I don’t care if he’s dying or whatever. I want him gone. He’s a RINO of the nth order.
“Conservatives are such a nuisance to the GOPe.”
Yes they are, but not that fruit loop Sharron Angle again. The Tea Party has done a lot of damage in their “zeal” to put “unvetted conservatives” in public office. Angle was a terrible legislator in Nevada. Like Cruz, everyone there hated her and they had good reason, she was a disruptive gatfly just like Cruz.
Maybe they could try doing what they were elected to do and the challenges would go away.
Nuisance pro invasion senators irk We The People. Former POWs included
I could see a billionaire real estate developer who is cheated out of a presidential nomination turning quite a few underfinanced tea party opponents into well-financed tea party opponents.
You're just another Californian with a distorted view of Texans. Got news for you, FRiend. TEA Partiers in Texas kept another RINO from joining his buddy Cornyn in the Senate.
John McCain, Kelly Ayotte, and Joe Heck are all Cheap Labor Express stooges and should be denied office.
If they are not, they will gve away the country.
I want Juan McCain gone.
-—John should McCain deny , Kel themly Ayotte, and Joe Heck are all Cheap Labor Express stooges and should be denied office.-—
Who should deny them their office...? Trump ?
Nothing would make me happier than to McCain voted out by the people of his state
I am with you brother.
Derrick Grayson or Mary Kay Bacallo? May 24.
If isakson wins the primary, I will vote Allen Buckley, libertarian in the fall.
I will NEVER vote for a GOP-endorsed candidate in this state again, period.

Being from California has nothing to do with anything! My wife is from Nevada. We know a lot about politics there as a consequence. While the Tea Party has had noble objectives, they have pur forward candidates who never should have been put on a ballot, because they put “idology” ahead of adquate vetting. As for Texans putting Cruz on the ballot, I am not at all sure from what I have learned about the man since he started his run for the Presidency, that you did the country a favor by electing him as one of your Senators. I’d just like one of you folks tell us all how you “work around” Cruz’ involvement ( along with his wife) in World Government. How do you square his push for a North American Union ( which is a biggie with Goldman Sachs and the CFR). Ted has talked a good story, but he has little or nothing to show for his time in the Senate. A lot of grandstanding that makes a lot more sense now with his candidacy. But in reality, he has operates pretty much like Barak Obama did in preparation for his run. I have come to not trust Cruz because he’s not, in my opinion who he claims to be.
The citizens should deny them office.
They do not represent the citizens, they represent illegal aliens and their employers.
Has GA ever had any good senators?
People in AZ are incapable of saying “No” to John McPain; it would be too painful for them to do that.
In that no known name is running against Isakson, the incumbent will sweep to victory.
If I married into such wealth that one of my many homes was a mansion in Sedona, I would retire at the earliest opportunity. The perks and power of being a Senator must be addicting.
