Cruz, Rubio join forces in Arkansas to block Trump delegates
Washington Examiner ^ | April 12, 2016 | David M. Drucker

Ted Cruz's and Marco Rubio's supporters have teamed up in Arkansas to pack the state delegation with individuals who'll turn against Donald Trump in a contested convention.

Since Rubio ended his presidential bid March 15, his network of party insiders has lined up behind Cruz to win delegates who'd vote for the Texas senator once they're no longer bound to Trump in a floor fight. Trump won Arkansas' GOP primary March 1 with 32.8 percent of the vote compared to Cruz's 30.5 percent and Rubio's 24.9 percent. But Cruz's canny operatives, with Rubio riding shotgun, is likely to thwart Trump in the delegate election.

Trump's organization is as sloppy in Arkansas as elsewhere, just as Cruz's is an efficient machine in state after state. This could ding the Donald, costing him as many as 25 delegates after a first inconclusive ballot. Cruz, who finished with 15 out of the available 40 delegates in primary voting, stands to gain all 16 Trump delegates and the 9 won by Rubio.

Arkansas already has their primary. People actually voted in that one.

Trump 133,144 32.8%

Cruz 123,873 30.5%

Rubio 101,235 24.9%

Will be interesting to see where the Rubio Trump VP talk goes. At this point I’d actually prefer Rubio over Cruz.

The entire system is working to defeat Trump and they will probably stop him from getting the 1237. It looks like maybe Cruz will end up the nominee. He is as bad as King Obama and will finish destroying America. He talks a good game but it is just talk and he will do nothing to save our Country.

Trump for President.

These are the talking points everywhere to cover-up the theft. Drudge showed billionaires all-in to steal delegates, with that and GOP it's hard to lose.

Pray for Trump.

THIS is EXACTLY what the Republican base majority and the anti-establishment majority voted AGAINST - Party Syndicalism and rule by pre-selected DELEGATION of GOPe committed Falangists that disenfranchise the votes of the majority base that hates all of this.

Cruz and Rubio are enabling foreign and corrupt Party Syndicalism right out of Spain and Cuba.

Cruz and Rubio, get your dirty Falangismo hands out, go back to some place where your type of GOPe Party Syncalist oligarchy would be more comfortable, like Cuba.

This is really funny.

The GOPe from top to bottom will spend millions of dollars and do any dirty deed required to keep an outsider Populist Nationalist from getting the nomination but they couldn't convince, extort, or bribe, enough democrats who play the same games they do to go along with an override of the Presidential veto of an end to ObamaCare or get anything else done.

Even the fact that they didn't try once a week for years rather than finally giving it a Bronx Cheer sort of attempt once the primary season started sums up the reality of the DC Bubble which is that We The People are nothing but serfs.

And don't bother with the "Principled Conservative" scam, anyone who is in with the RNC for a penny is in with them for a pound.

Not that long ago Freepers held up Cruz as an example of politician who fought the conservative fight and didn’t back down from the GOPe. Now Trumpeters call him part of the GOPe.

Trumpeters praised Trump for doing and saying whatever it took to win and now hate Cruz for doing the same.

Trumpeters said Cruz wasn’t a deal maker like Trump. He couldn’t close the deal. Now they don’t like his deal making.

Trumpeters are a fickle bunch.

I had thought that Generalissimo Francisco Franco was still dead, based on what Chevy Chase told us on Saturday Night Live back in the 1970s.

I’m more convinced than ever that Trump planned Colorado to happen the way it’s happening. Trump knew all about the CO rules - he said so in this press conference yesterday. He’s said over and over he likes to be unpredictable - and talks about the comment a business associate said - “We couldn’t figure you out”.

Many people in Colorado was very angry at what the GOP did with the rules last year. Here’s what the former CO GOP chair said;

Former CO GOP Chair: Message We’re Sending Is “Your Vote Doesn’t Matter
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/f-news/3419763/posts

And here’s the perception;
http://www.freerepublic.com/focus/search?m=all;o=time;q=quick;s=Colorado%20GOP

Colorado GOP has lost the perception battle, big time. That cat will never be put back in the bag.

The worst thing to do in a war is underestimate your enemy - that gives the enemy a HUGE advantage. Trump is perfectly capable of the strategic thinking required to analyze and execute exactly what is happening in the fallout of the CO fiasco. Bet on it. People don’t get here;

And signing 22k paychecks on the front with out serious stragetic thinking skills.

I had thought Rubio would match up with Trump but given recent events, my guess is that is not going to happen. Looks like he prefers another senator to latch on to.

The GOP and GOPe have now circled the wagons, freezing out The Donald. Unless some miracle happens and in the face of tremendous media pressure actually wins outright, he is not going to get this nomination.

Since I have been pushing for a return to 1861 for awhile, I guess the GOP will lose big in the coming national elections because Trump will either go third party or be on the outside of the GOP tent pissing in. After a Dem sweep, the country goes over the edge as the producers finally toss in the towel supporting the leaches and the break up begins in earnest. Jefferson said a little revolution every once in a while is a good thing.

I cannot imagine Cruz doing that much better with women. If 54,000,000 single women vote this time round, what's in it for them? His "good looks"? No, it's a creep. Preservation of abortion rights? No. You think he really understands the plight of the working mom? After all, HIS wife was a Goldman Sachs honcho. Lot in common with the gal with two jobs juggling daycare. And putting "eye candy" Rubio in the second slot won't change that much, you still have to listen to swarmy Ted every time he opens his lyin' mouth.

70% of women may never vote for Trump but 60% won't vote for Cruz. In fact, he's the least attractive man to run for the office since LBJ, who looks like he could have been his grandfather.
