But laugh I did not, as I read the tale of Kim West – the 51-year-old who entered a romantic relationship with her child 30 years after giving him up for adoption.
Her story was splashed over the newspapers last week after she revealed how a reunion between the pair sparked an intense romance. Now they want to get married and start a family.

So in summary, a woman was sexually attracted to her son and invented a scientific sounding term to excuse her perversion. She tried to stop but her feelings were too powerful, AND IMPOSSIBLE TO CHANGE. Sound familiar? Yup, incest is on its way to being normalized, can pedophilia be far behind? I predict that within 10 years any state not endorsing incestual marriage will be on the boycott list from leftist entertainers, Governors and corporations.

I believe that a couple of cities in the Middle East got fire and brimstone rained down on them a few millennia ago for similar reasons.
Looks like a universal thing with these people is that the older person was never a parent to the younger person - they never had that time together, and the siblings never grew up together in the same home.
There is/never was any kind of parenting instinct involved.

That seems to be their way to rationalize this behavior, but it seems to me that for the vast majority of people if you see an attractive woman and learn she is your mom the attraction would stop immediately. Same for brother and sister, etc. Natural instinct would end the attraction. It also seems very strange that the son in the article would be attracted to a woman 30 years older than him. It would be interesting to find out if he would have found her attractive before he found out she was his mom. That would be a tough experiment to set up.

Perhaps if test subjects were shown a mix including pictures of their mothers (or sisters) with variable features - such as hair color/style, clothing, makeup - changed from reality, the experimenters could learn whether a subject is sexually attracted to his close relatives more than to other women.
Another view after informing that person that his mother (sister) were included would indicate whether he found that factor appealing in itself.
