photo ops can suddenly turn on a politician and bite their South Side in front of the same leering cameras. Ask Hillary Clinton after her awkward Thursday experience attempting to enter the New York City subway.
Clintons had Secret Service chauffeurs for 23 years now. She hasnt driven a car this century. She prohibits traveling press from photographing her boarding chartered private jets.
But with the New York primary just 11 days away and another elderly ex-New Yorker undermining her sure-fire, now lame nomination campaign by winning six of the last seven contests, millionairess Clinton wanted to look like a regular person. So, she shunned the limo and charter jet.
...
planned to take a well-guarded ride on the No. 4 train from 161st Street in the Bronx. Key words: well-guarded.
...
So, Clinton walked up to the subway turnstile holding the MetroCard someone bought for her. She swiped it at the fare reader. And .nothing. Again. Nothing. Again. Nothing. Again. Nothing.
Cameras captured the painful scene as the woman who jokes about wiping her private email server with a cloth looked like a puzzled yutz.
Finally, on the fifth try Clinton gained entry, confident in the knowledge her straight face would appear in this photo, not her five tries.
Clinton waited on the platform, just like you would, except for all the guards. A train arrived. The woman who earned a minimum quarter-million per speech boarded with her entire entourage and went for a ride.
...
How many ex-senators does it take to swipe a fare card?
Dont hold your breath for late-night laughs at this Democrats expense.
Tag-along media did cover the Bronx ineptness Thursday, but quickly added all kinds of helpful excuses and distracting details.

Hillary, she is just so darned authentic/s.
Hillary, she is just so darned authentic/s.
Hillary, she is just so darned authentic/s.
I’m surprised that she doesn’t remember how to hop the turnstile from the days when she was dead broke.
“”She prohibits traveling press from photographing her boarding chartered private jets.””
I wonder if she prohibits them from zooming in on her aging cracked face also??
Yep I heard lots of news people say how those cards don’t always register the first time. Lots of Hillary apolgists in the media.
What a stupid stunt. So based on this we are supposed to think, look, Hillary takes the subway too, she’s just like all of us on the subway going to work???, really???
SS agents ‘punished’* to protect her with eyes rolling as she tries to figure out how to use her pass. Kinda like the chain saw guy in the geico commercial when the kids hide right in front of him. Slight head shake and eye roll at the idiots.
*What did they do to get that assignment?

“She prohibits traveling press from photographing her boarding chartered private jets.”
Seems the media would have to be complicit in this prohibition.
She also broke the law by having an election campaign event in the subway. Not allowed by NYC laws.
I like how the Hitlerbeast apologists are accidentally admitting that the New York City government is useless and inefficient.
swiped over a thousand times, easy.
Never had a problem.
But she’s a REAL NYer /s
carpetbagger ######
I read somewhere that she technically broke the law, when she campaigned on board the car. Apparently street musicians and political campaign may be on the platform, but not in the cars. She should get a ticket.
I’ll hold my breath.
Saturday Night Live actually mocked Hillary about this.

Kids these days.

She should get Judas Priest to perform “Breaking the Law” at the Demoncrap convention when she is given the nomination.
Perhaps that song could be played in the background when the general election ads come out from the Republicans.
What is puzzling to me is that the NY subway system does not have proximity card readers for their turnstiles. We had them on our doors where I worked about 15 years ago and they were saying on Fox that the DC Metro has them, no swipe needed.
I visited NY recently. You have to learn the right swipe motionnot too fast or slow.
