CHRISTIAN communities in China have been left horrified after the government started tearing down thousands of crucifixes in a crude bid to eradicate the faith in the country.
More than two thousand crosses have now been forcefully removed from churches as part of a government campaign to regulate "excessive religious sites".

Several members of the public have since been arrested for attempting to halt the government's crude attempt to suppress the Christian faith.
Among the arrested was prominent human rights lawyer Zhang Kai, who was detained after he mounted a legal campaign to challenge the removal of the crosses.
Mr Kai was detained for six months before he was "forced" to appear on the State channel to "confess" his crimes against the Chinese governement by supporting the anti-establishment protest of the demolition of crucifixes.

I rather anticipate this is going to be (on a softer and smaller scale) like what happened when Christians were fed to the lions. More Christians. If the Chinese government had left the crosses alone, nobody would ever wonder why the fuss. Now they are going to wonder why.

... and in Los Angeles a Federal Judge, appointed by President Clinton, orders the removal of a tiny cross from the county seal.
I thought the Cultural Revolution wiped out Christianity in China. It’s what our leftists admire most about Mao.
It is high time Americans understood that our government is allied and aligned with the governments doing this; what Western government doesn’t envy Red China (and their North Korean puppet) for their suppression and control of their populations?
