Only Trump has a realistic path to a delegate majority.

David Wasserman

"Coincidentally, after tonight both Trump and Sanders need 58 percent of remaining delegates to reach a majority (in Sanders’s case, this refers to pledged delegates only). But only Trump has a realistic path to a delegate majority, because the remaining Republican calendar is heavily winner-take-all."

TRUMP is the only GOP Candidate that can win 1237.

Cruz will not win another Primary or even come close for 1 month, at least.

Good bye, Cruz, sabor your WI wind, that will be the last until early Summer.

"Donald Trump is currently ahead in 45 of Wisconsin's 72 counties, even though he's trailing statewide by 15%."

The GOPe is it seems calling the shots now.

This could be to be, a real mess.

districts are made up of counties. If he wins enough counties, he might get a few delegates out of tonight’s “less than stellar” progress.

“This could be to be, a real mess.”

It’s already a mess.

And Trump is the only one who can beat Hillary.

It is very unlikely that Trump can get the 1237 he needs now. Possible, but very unlikely at this point.

Looks to me like he will lose to Cruz on the 2nd or 3rd ballot at the convention.

Cruz just has a much more professional campaign team around him and he hasn’t managed to alienate everyone but his core supporters. So yeah, Cruz on the 2nd or 3rd ballot is increasingly the most likely scenario.

Maybe Trumpkins can go back to that ARG poll they were posting over and over and imagine the actual Wisconsin primary never took place? Or perhaps they can go back to posting gutter sleaze from the National Enquirer cause that really helped their cause so much, right?

If June 1 comes and Trump cannot reach 1237, will he drop out?

Cruz may not win another state if he stays to the end because after NY and the other NE states, there will no momentum left whatsoever for Cruz. He would look totally stupid to stay in the race.

I believe in us. TRUMP supporters have been rock ribbed and we are going to stay that way all the way to the Convention.

Cruz is done. His so called “delegates” were raided hard.

Hell’s bells, those poor boobs had to get him off their porch somehow, cba, so they agreed! LOL!

Cruz delegate support is a mile wide and a half inch deep, I can assure you of that.

This delegate steal will not work. Christians will not buy into it when push comes to shove and it comes time to pull the trigger against the voters of America! They will do what is right.

Anyone who believes the GOPe did all this work and spent a sh**load of money to take down Donald Trump just to give the nomination to Ted Cruz is kidding themselves.

Trump will be done in by his massive ego. The self-inflicted woulds of the past two weeks are the beginning of the end for his campaign.

Doesn’t matter. Trump will not get a majority and will not win on the first ballot in Cleveland. If he does not win on the first ballot, no way he wins the nomination. There are 100s of delegates bound by law to vote for him once, but cannot wait to move on to another candidate after that. In some ways the same thing can be said about Cruz. A contested convention probably means neither Trump nor Cruz wins the nomination, unless they make a deal with each other and that bridge burned long ago.

Cruz won't win on those ballots.  Once the first ballot is cast, the GOPe will stuff their mystery candidate in to the works.  The fix is in.

Well, no actually. The GOPe has far more delegates lined up than either Trump or Cruz, and they’re going to Kasich. Cruz is a patsy, nothing more and this has been confirmed whenever GOPe people are asked about who they’ll support at a convention.

The only people who don’t see this are Cruz backers. He’s doing the work that Rubio couldn’t for the GOPe.

Cruz is done

WI means nothing

The GOPe did a fantastic job

But NY is different

Those tactics won’t work in NY

If Cruz did somehow take the nomination even though he was trailing in the delegates, he won’t win the national election without Trump voters which will bolt the Party.

Maybe as a Republican. Frankly, if he goes independent he could draw a good number of votes, not enough to win the presidency in my opinion, but he would do well nationally, and a lot of Republican voters would leave with him!
