Some male Muslim students in Switzerland will no longer need to shake hands with their female teachers, following a ruling that has caused an uproar and consternation in the country. Education authorities in the northern Swiss municipality of Therwil, in the canton of Basel-Country, reached the controversial decision after two male students complained that the Swiss custom of shaking hands with the teacher is counter to their religious beliefs if the teacher is a woman.

Oddly, it was a local decision by the local school board....not to back up the teacher. As soon as the regional guys get wind of this...they will reverse the episode. The thing is....with duality written into the Koran, once you decide to live among westerners and non-Muslims, you are granted a waiver from various Muslim habits. For some reason, these punk kids weren’t explained the duality rule.

Strangely, I don’t have a problem with this.
I can’t stand hugging women that aren’t my wife, for example.

Very amusing. One piece of political correctness (Religions such as Islam must be respected) is put into conflict with another piece of political correctness. (Women must be treated as equals.)
They are going to have to decide which of their politically correct doctrines is more important because they won't be able to keep them both.

I suggest we resurrect the culture of cultural imperialism where they follow our rules or their either get off the land or under it.
