No he doesn’t. Stop making excuses for this slime.

He has undermined the will of the people by stealing delegates in LA and now is trying it in AZ. Good old “Mr. Constitution” apparently has no idea what the spirit of the Constitution really is.

Very sorry I ever, ever supported this jerk.

I don’t think that either Cruz Or Trump has a real chance of bringing a majority into the convention. Even Trump has acknowledged that by threatening riots if he falls short and is denied the nomination. Just this weekend he stated that it is “very unfair” to require 1237 delegates. He obviously doesn’t think he’ll have it.

Maine was a caucus, wasn’t it? Don’t sweat it FRiend, if you hadn’t voted, the Keep the Promise MCMLXXVIII PAC army would have just stuffed another couple Ted ballots into the coffee can.

To get it from being locked or pulled for being a duplicate, of course.

Anything for Trump!

When the primary season started I thought Ted would be a good VP pick for Trump...at this point I would never vote for him anything here and I would not even wish him to go back to Canada....you don’t do that sort of things to your friends...adios Ted.

Cruz “character”:

1. Phony summonses mailed out, scaring people to vote for Cruz.

2. Claiming Carson quit, presinct captains told voters “vote for Cruz”

3. Campaigning in the 800 churches, showing video “vote for me” with his preacher/father stomping for him. Rafael Cruz is a Seven Mountain Dominionist and believes his son is the anointed one.

4. “Brilliant” lawyer, did not know he was Canadian citizen and that he is not Natural Born Citizen, not eligible for office of P or VP.

5. Making phony video advertising with lies about opponents.

6. Uses Trump’s wife in advertising “vote for Cruz” and then screams that Trump hates women, while he “loves them” - keeping few extra mistresses.

Just enough to beat Trump in IA, apologize, rinse and repeat?
Liar is the polite term for this Cuban-Canadian. His father was pro-communist in Cuba, imprisoned by Batista, but now he is refugee?

Plus all of Cruz’s College records have been sealed, did he receive funding as a foreign student?

Dropping out by Cruz and ceding the nomination to Trump would eliminate any GOPe shenanigans. By staying in with no hope of reaching 1,237 is a selfish act for someone who claims to be against the GOPe. Cruz is no outsider.

According to the rules as they are now set up, Ted Cruz will be one of two people who are eligible to be nominated at the Republican National Convention in July, the other being The Donald.

The basic rule, that each eligible candidate must have won at least 8 primary elections or caucus selections, whether by a plurality (most of them have been) or an outright majority, still stands. Alternative names may also be placed in nomination from the floor, but with few if any pledged delegates, most of these will have chances ranging from fat to slim to none.

The conflict could just as easily and simply resolved by Ted Cruz agreeing, before any ballots are cast, to be The Donald’s Vice-Presidential running mate, should The Donald make the offer.

Nomination by acclamation.

Like the RNC would go for that. But what could they do? Totally deny both frontrunners their due?

Getting the scrotum caught in a bear trap does not leave a lot of options.

If he doesn’t drop out (after being mathematically eliminated) then I will become a Trump supporter that day.

The only rationalization for him convincing unbound delegates to vote for him is under the assumption a second vote will be needed. It won’t be needed if Trump has 1237 delegates.
==

Then you should go ahead and drop Cruz now because he ain’t gonna get close, no more Texas’s and Utah left.

He’s just following his masters orders, the GoPe money bundlers at this point. It was over for Cruz after FL and OH. Simple math says so.

And that is exactly what will happen I fear.

Silly me, I always thought the GOP was honorable although I should know better after watching 1964 and 1976.

Hillary and the entire rat down ticket. All the way baby. The retarded Teddy will lose anyway, as will the retarded Mitt or whoever else they foist on us. Why reward the GOPe with anything but total failure. They can take poorly paid commissar positions in the new Democrat ruling party.

For all intents and purposes, he already is eliminated. Waiting for “absolutist” math to catch up to reality is nice and all, but unless Cruz achieves Saddam-like victories in every remaining state, he can’t even get close to 1,237.

Exactly. Which is why this primary season is all about keep away, period. Vote for this one here, that one there, flip this delegate, put their person in there, adopt this rule according to the circumstances, and in the end we can Stop Trump. Those are the rules after all.

Then they expect a unified party? Really?

Any normal year the party would get behind the front runner and this would have been a done deal a long time ago. Oh well, we will see what happens at the RNC. I'm up to a two name list though in the event they hold Trump below 1237. I would accept Sessions. Maybe there are more names that can be put on the list.

If Cruz were to drop out, for the first ballot some probably not many of his delegates would go to Trump. One reason is that each state has its own rules about how the delegates should be allocated if a candidate drops out.
