Vetoing Protection of Religious Freedom Act Opening a Pandora's Box?

Just a simple question to debate . . .

If the Protection Of Religious Freedom Act in a state is discriminatory and worthy of boycotts because people don't want to do business with companies that are located in a state that practices discrimination, then how do they justify . . .

Affirmative Action

Title IX

Minority Carve-out Contracts by States

just something to being up to the opponents . . .

Money trumps God in this country these days. Ungood.

If we would only fundamentally RESTORE the U.S. Constitution, all this would take care of itself. Once the powers-that-be carve out special laws and privileges for one group, another is automatically disenfranchised. We need smaller government!

The Johnson Administration’s forays into creating special classes of protected citizens laid the foundations for a totalitarian state.

Governor Nathan Deal is a PINHEAD! He is correct in one small aspect, the Constitution both of the Nation and of Georgia both already re-ensure the Right to Religious Liberty. However if HE TRULY Believed (and understood) this, He should Never VETO a LAW that Re-enforces said Right! In other words he has No Comprehension of what he is doing!

Do you even understand why the Bill of Rights is in the Constitution? It is an Unnecessary set of stated Rights. They were Rights before the Bill of Rights were added to the Constitution. The reason they were added was to Re-enforce the Rights that Already existed and to help the Citizens Acknowledge those specific rights in case a Tyrannical Government tried to take them once again...

Educate Yourselves and Know Your Right Come From GOD to You and only a few are given to government to ensure our security on a World and local scale... Government function has NOTHING to do with your everyday Life!

The Enemy is within and until we deal with that Enemy we will Never be able to Deal with the Enemy’s outside the Nation.

Leftism means never having to be logically consistent.

Once the powers-that-be carve out special laws and privileges for one group, another is automatically disenfranchised.

And that is exactly the point. The government, acting through it's third branch, the Judiciary, has assumed the power of granting "rights." They have deliberately created a complex scheme of "rights" that are inherently in conflict with each other so that government can assume the role as "arbiter" of those rights. They determine which "rights" win, and which rights lose.

In so doing, they deny us the real source of our rights, which is that God granted them to us, and they are the rights to life, liberty, property, and to worship and know Him. All of them were in the Ten Commandments.

But when the government assumes the power to grant "rights," it also assumes the power to take them away. Under such a scheme, rights are not rights at all, but instead are licenses. They have no more real authority than a fishing license, to be granted and revoked at the whim of the government.

And under such a system, as it is intended, we become pieces of meat to be disposed of as the state sees fit.

Excellent post. I hope everyone reads and understands it. Probably most FReepers already get this. It needs to be understood by the lo-info voters. And the “elites” who “rule” over us.
