Gov. Scott Walker of Wisconsin threw his support behind Senator Ted Cruzs presidential campaign on Tuesday, calling him the strongest conservative to represent the Republican Party in the general election.
The endorsement comes a week before Wisconsin holds its pivotal primary on April 5. Mr. Cruz is desperately trying to catch up with Donald J. Trump in the race for delegates and Mr. Walkers support could offer a needed boost in a close contest. Polls show the two candidates essentially deadlocked with Gov. John Kasich trailing.

Walker was one I was considering from the original list of candidates....Trump, however has never made the cut.
I can’t believe how many are getting scammed by Cruz. Many have said Walker is a RINO. Well he is proving that.
Of course. Now, what difference will Walker’s endorsement make?
Good for Walker. I’m sure he believes the endorsement will pay off for him. On the other hand, voters who place any real weight on endorsements is surrendering independent judgement to politicians. They have done such a good job leading our country since WWII.
I felt the same.. He dropped out before the race really got started.
Forgot to grammar check.

Thank you, Governor Walker, for endorsing the true conservative in the race.
Fio, who had single digit support, now supports Cruz.
Jeb, who had LOW single digit support, now supports Cruz.
I see a pattern here. Those that most Americans put thumbs down on, support the one who most Americans put thumbs down on.
Anyone surprised?
A decision Gov Walker will very likely come to regret.
It's his GOTV machine that matters here. Walker has won 3 statewide elections including fending off well publicized recall effort. Walker has a very powerful ground operation, that will now be directed to help Cruz GOTV. Other than that, I am not sure endorsements matter too much right now.
I’ve said this for a while now... When SHTF days arrives most people are going to be shocked by who is and who is not on our side.
It's all explained right here!
Really cracks me up all the GOPe coming out and endorsing Cruz when they all despise him, because they all know if Trump wins their way of life is over. 21-10 so far in the states won. Cruz has won 8 small caucus state, his “home state” of Texas with 43% of the vote and little Texas, called Oklahoma, where he barely beat Trump. He’s almost 300 delegates behind Trump and 2,000,000 voters behind Trump but the GOPe refuses to accept reality. If the nomination is stolen from Trump at the convention and given to Cruz or anyone else that didn’t beat Trump with delegates during the primaries, his people walk. Hell would freezer over before I voted for Cruz or Kasich or any other establishment type that’s handed the nomination if they didn’t earn it on their own. Say hello to President Hillary Clinton if that happens.
I much prefer how my Governor in Michigan plays it.
Dont endorse anyone. You aren’t the one we turn to for advice on stuff like this.
But Like I said yesterday, Walker was the first one Trump bounced out of the race because he was a weak candidate, so goodness knows what his endorsement is going to do.
Scott, wasn’t he once a somebody for a short time?
Amen to EVERY word of your post!
I like Scott Walker. He's supporting the wrong man. Nothing personal.
Odd, I was just the opposite. I always saw Walker as a skinny Christy.
