Kasich Campaign Pulls Ads From Wisconsin Radio: Drop-Out Incoming?
The Ring of Fire Network ^ | March 28, 2016 | The Ring of Fire Network

Late Monday morning, Wisconsin conservative radio host Charles Sykes made the announcement via Twitter that the Kasich campaign ordered an immediate pull of all radio campaign ads from Wisconsin markets.

BREAKING: Kasich campaign immediately pulling all radio ads from Wisconsin markets.

— Charles Sykes (@SykesCharlie) March 28, 2016

With rumors swirling that candidate John Kasich is running woefully short on cash in a race he has no mathematical chance of winning, it would not be particularly surprising to see Kasich dropping out.

As recently as Sunday, Kasich said that calls for him to drop out by competitor Ted Cruz were “absurd,” but is it possible that he has had a change of heart (or maybe wallet)?

Maybe instead of dropping out, this pull of ad revenue is a sign that Kasich acknowledges that he has no chance in Wisconsin and is trying to reserve funding for more competitive markets?

UPDATE: Since publishing, the Kasich campaign has responded to these rumors saying that some, not all of wisconsin’s ad money is being pulled. Not really the reassuring message a Kasich supporter might be hoping for.

Mmmmmmmmmmm . . . I don't think so. He's had a fairly large injection of Soros money as shown here.

Unless, that is, if he blew through most of it to carry Ohio.

Interesting, I commented on this earlier in another thread suggesting that Kasich conceivably could come in second behind Trump if he ran some NEW ads saying:

"I don't make strange comments about copulating with Donald Trump like Ted Cruz does" and "My campaign spokespeople don't make rape jokes like Cruz' mouthpiece Glenn Beck does!"

George Soros just upped Ksick’s money, he might be moving around his ads, but he isn’t pulling out...

Another Cruz ‘Carson is dropping out’ or ‘Rubio is quitting the race’ bait...

Ksick is being backed by Soros, he’s not going anywhere...

Hopefully none of the Cruz staffers will reference this article in any conversations with the media, their wives and husbands, relatives, old school buddies or people they might meet on the street.

That will be necessary to avoid any future “Cruzifictions” of “Lying Ted” for spreading false rumors about Kasich pulling out of the reace.

Freepers and Trump are, as usual, exempt from this restriction.

I would guess the money is being redeployed to Pennsylvania where he has real shot at winning.

Even George Soros will carry a dead horse only so long. John Kasich has been the zombie candidate, and the corpse was only temporarily animated in Ohio.

No. Kasich is following orders. If the pols are correct and Cruz is getting close to Trump, Kasich should lay low and let Cruz win. Kasich can’t drop out or Trump will get his delegates.

There is no guarantee all, or even most, Kasich votes will got for Ted Cruz. I hear lefties claim they will vote for Trump because he will be so much easier to beat than Cruz . . . or because they hate Cruz worse with his inflexible interpretation of the constitution and all that . . .

Indeed, but the reason they are exempt is because the anti-Trumpers do not bother with evidence, so it hardly matters people close to him say. Heck Cruz even blamed Trump for a story in a tabloid where all the evidence points to being pushed by the Rubio campaign.

Poll today shows Kasich in 2nd place, 2 pts behind Trump.
