Bernie Sanders Crushes Shrillary Clinton in AK and WA contests (HI to report in soon)
3/26/2016

Posted on 03/26/2016 7:33:49 PM PDT by SamAdams76

AK (100% reporting)
Bernie = 80.7%
Shrillary = 19.3%

WA (93% reporting)
Bernie = 72.3%
Shrillary = 27.5%

HI (0% reporting)

So in Alaska and Washington State, just a total smackdown of Shrillary Clinton in those contests. Hawaii will not report for a few more hours but is generally expected to go the same way. So it appears that Bernie will win the trifecta of Democrat contests this weekend.

So what does it all mean? It means that Bernie's faint hopes stay alive as the next major contest looms in Wisconsin - also where Bernie is expected to do well. A strong performance by Bernie in Wisconsin will definitely make Shrillary start to sweat a little.

In terms of delegates, Shrillary has the large lead due mainly to the "superdelegates" that are currently pledged to her. Subtract those and counting only "won" delegates (through actual voting) and Shrillary's delegate lead after tonight will actually be less than the lead that Trump currently has over Cruz.

For those who remember the 2008 election, Shrillary actually had the advantage over Obama right through mid-April, when the superdelegates finally started tilting Obamas way. Will be interesting to see what those superdelegates do should Bernie be able to pull even or even pull ahead on "won" delegates over the next few contests.

Again, it's still a long shot for Bernie. But think about it. Everybody assumes that Shrillary will be a formidable candidate in the general election but in 2008 she got her clock cleaned by Obama in the primaries. This time around, she's getting embarrassed in a lot of states by a washed up socialist from Vermont. This was once again supposed to be a cakewalk for her and a coronation. But Bernie is giving her some real heartburn.

As for the Republicans, things have really gotten quiet lately. Too quiet in fact. No upcoming debates. I checked Trump's schedule and he's got one event in Wisconsin on Tuesday and that's it so far. Other than a few tweets from Trump and the tabloid controversy with Cruz over the mistresses, not much has been happening. Not a lot of polling either. It looks like Wisconsin will be a close contest so you would think that both Trump and Cruz would be campaigning all over that state by now. But that does not appear to be happening.

But very interesting, these lopsided wins by Bernie over Shrillary tonight. The rank and file of the Democratic Party do not appear to be very enthused about the "chosen one".

It does not matter.

The People decide. But Clinton gets the win.

this guy is a THREAT!

we ignore him at our peril.

the under 30 college crowd LOVES him.

Hillary is hated. We need her to win the primary.

and if a communist were to win in November, then it’ll be time to take action.

Don’t you just love this! An old Bolshevik from Vermont is eating Htlary’s lunch. I mean he can’t win, but he going to leave her badly wounded so that Trump can finish her off!

The “Democratic” Party has a well rigged system with lots of ‘super delegates’ the unelected ones beyond those elected today who will support Hillary no matter what.

Bernie is a threat no doubt but sanders if he won would never get his agenda through. Hillary would with McCain and Linda helping her.

So much focus on the GOP primary that this ones been forgotten

Very bad news for her. She has won primaries in a lot of states she won’t win in Nov.

Looks like the DNC convention may be heading for the same issues the GOP one is

When the bird landed on Bernie’s podium the other day that was a sign for the millennials—their socialist gods were pleased.

That is why Bernie doing so well should scare us all. The future of our country is decidedly more “European.” It’s just a matter of time before a younger more electable version of Bernie (an outspoken, overt Communist) rises to the top of the Democrat party and wins.

If Congress does their constitutional role of 1/3 of the government providing checks and balances on the president we’ll be ok with bernie (or trump or even hillary). Given recent history I’d say we’re screwed if bernie wins.

Hitlery’s people will give the Bernie people some offers they can’t refuse.

Hitlery to Bernie: “Heads I win, tails you lose”.

Bernie: “Sounds fair to me”.

The under 30 crowd scares the heck out of me. They actually think socialism is a good thing and that the "1 per cent" will get their comeuppance under such a system. They don't understand that making rich people poor will make them poorer as well. They are too young to remember the Soviet Union and how people there had to stand in line for hours just to get a loaf of bread or a bar of soap. They don't seem to understand modern day examples of failed socialism like Venezuela and Cuba.

So the Democratic contest is going to have no positive outcome for me. Either we get the wicked witch or the washed up socialist that the young people are swooning over.

The Republican must win this November. All this infighting is not helping our cause.

Bernie could win 99% of all Dem delegates and still lose at the convention to Hillarious. It’s rigged, has always been and will continue to be until the Queen has mounted the throne. God save the Queen.
