... Ten days later, while speaking to the Ohio EPA workers, Kasich called Barrett an “idiot” multiple times for simply doing his job. “Have you ever been stopped by a policeman, who was an idiot?” he asked his audience. “I had this idiot pull me over on 315. Listen to this story. He says to me, you passed this emergency vehicle on the side of the road and you didn’t yield. I didn’t even see, where the heck was it. The last thing I would ever do would be to pass an emergency vehicle. Are you kidding me?” The dash cam footage clearly shows that he did.

Maybe he didn’t think of the police car as an “emergency” vehicle because it didn’t look like the police car was involved in any kind of emergency. There are many people today who drive without knowing or following the more technical driving laws, like the left lane is only for passing.

The GOPe (and the UniParty) think that it's 1955, and that the populace– both sides– will accept some political turd stuffed down their throats. The arrogance and tone-deafness is at once appalling and infuriating.

I really think they are responding to unknown imperatives and aren't the least bit interested in what the public thinks. They are trying to save their political careers - and calm the fury of those who bought and paid for them.

If the GOP Establishment tries to foist Ryan or Kasich or some other RINO on its Voter Support, there will definitely be a Voter Revolt that will destroy the Republican Party and strip the Elites of their authority.

These RINOs have proven that there is no difference between themselves and the Democrats. The Voters are wise to them.

Kasich even lied to the audience about what the officer told him. The officer clearly said Kasich did not move from the right lane to pass a police car stopped on the side of the highway.

Most people who have occupied positions of power always think they are above the law and look down upon law enforcement officers. The fact that his claim was he didn’t notice it should bring into question his ability to possess a driver’s license.

I saw the video and the lights were flashing, it was clear what happened. The law is in place to protect police officers and other emergency personnel so they don’t get hit.

If you haven’t seen the video, it’s completely understandable to think that he might not have known, but once you see it, it’s pretty obvious. There was even audio and the police officer was very polite and explained about the legislature passing the law, etc. Kasich asked if he could just pay the fine and not go to court and the officer explained that with this citation, you have to go to court.

I really really liked Kasich from when he had a show on Fox years ago. When I saw the video and with the insert video of him criticizing the police officer, I was crushed, he acted like a jackass calling the officer an idiot. He owes him an apology...

I never try to hog the left lane, but on some highways I travel, the right lane is rutted and has potholes.

Wow. Do Jeb and Kasuch have inbred parents? They both seem to be shedding brain cells faster than dandruff.

Or his eyesight is that bad, LOL. I mean he actually sees himself being the Republican nominee for President, and eventually the President. So either he sees what no one else can see or his vision is greatly impaired.

But yes, my real guess would be on the phone.

******************************************

I saw the video a couple of days ago, Kasich is guilty as charged.

IMO, his true character shows him to be an a-hole about the policeman, especially because he “pretended” to be such a “nice” guy during all of the debates. I think we have another establishment, phony on our hands with Kasich.

Watch the video folks....see for yourself!
