Thursday on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” former House Speaker Newt Gingrich said conservative blogger Erick Erickson, who has recently said the Republicans should prepare for a third-party alternative if Donald Trump wins the party’s 2016 presidential nomination, is “functionally supporting Hillary Clinton.”

I know he is a self described conservative blogger. I recall reading him on Red State.
But who is backing this effort. I doubt Erickson could finance a large meal much less a presidential campaign.
I doubt 3 people would vote for Erickson.
With no money and no support someone else must be backing him.

Erick is a fat-a$$, name dropping opportunist with a McDonald’s brain acting like he is a steak from Ruth’s Chris. His one-time fame was Red-State but they ended up firing him (he says he felt he just “had” to move on for growth or something).
An unpleasant voice for radio, a seriously lacking mentality and an unpleasant person all the way round IMO.
His 15 minutes of fame are almost up.
And 5th rate Ratio talk show host. Has a following of a few hundred and no ability to influence anything. A clown trying desperately to draw attention to his failing website.

Then he is a demodummie in disguise. Suggesting that anyone other than Trump through a 3rd party, will sure as hell GET him/us Clinton. I am sooooooooooooooo damn sick of the wanna be authorities trying to circumvent Trump, constantly plotting against him in any/every way, and avoiding getting behind Trump to WIN this damn election, its making me ill. Right now the republicans need to get behind Trump, stop peeing in their pants in fear of losing the "control" and like I said before, "WIN THIS DAMN THING".
Erickson is a fat a$$ fraud, who pretends to be conservative.
He supported Jeb Bush.

That is exactly the idea. E. Erickson wants Hillary to win. Him being a conservative is just a mask to hide his real agenda.
He’s a mole in the Conservative camp. Everyone in the Republican Party should disregard what he says.
Red State’s just as bad. How ironic is it that Trump swept the red southern states that they are so willing to disenfranchise. I think Trump should take the disenfranchisement talking points on the campaign trail. Or take it to the people in a press conference and tell them loud and clear that the Republican party is trying to disenfranchise the south, new Hampshire, Massachusetts, Virginia, etc.

They aren’t “Red” state. They are “money” state. Really part of the collective that seeks to ostensibly reform the “GOP” et al, but really are part and parcel to the whole scam. I don’t trust them or anyone associated with it, frankly. I want their whole scheme destroyed and replaced.
It would be hilarious to discover that Trump has a mole in every anti-Trump group, and he’s directing these moles to cancel all the other groups out.
There are so many anti-Trump groups, yet they seem to gain no traction.
Erickson has been blasting Trump since day one.
He would rather see Hillary as President than stay true to the electoral process and support the Republican nominee.

A few months ago he disinvited Trump from a local forum and the few friends he has left may be limited to the otherwise good folks at the church he attends.
As mentioned upthread, he doesn't have a voice for radio and seems to whine a lot.

All of Salem Communications... HotAir/Townhall/Twitchy et al, they have all been obviously pro-Ted and vehemently anti-Trump since the beginning. The marching orders went out long ago and they’ve all stayed in lockstep, obviously funded by the same agenda setters as NRO and radio hosts like Levin and Rush.
What free media? I commend Drudge and Breitbart for actually being fair. Of course, to Ted and/or GOPe supporters, it looks like Pro-Trump bias, but that’s kind of like comparing Globalist FoxNews to OAN at this point.

Erickson has Rush’s lost pounds and Sarah Palin’s voice(not good for a man). He actually shilled for Jeb early on then moved to Cruz when it was apparent Jeb was DOA
