I saw that from the very beginning. I have been saying for the longest time that anyone who subscribed to the David Brat model of going directly to the people would be successful. As you said, Reagan did it and still confounds them from the grave.
Remember in 2012 when Romney became the frontrunner? We conservatives were not so happy about that but we sucked it up and got behind him. I don’t recall us fighting to sabatoge his chances to win.
