Kasich is a spoiler, hasn’t won one state, can’t win anywhere but his home state. A vote for Kasich is a vote for the Establishment’s dream of a back room deal convention where they ignore the people’s vote.

Kasich voted for Nafta wants TPP, voted of assault ban, and amnesty, supports Common Core

How could Ohio vote for this Republican in name only?

Prediction

Trump will win Florida, North Carolina, Illinois and Missouri.

Rubio drops out by Friday.

Ohio is too close to call. Trump would have lost but I think the riots in Chicago may push Trump over for the win.

Nevertheless, Romney enters the race before the next deabate. Hence, why there is another debate on Fox News now.

Although Session may be a stand-up guy and all, I’m less and less interested in prolonging the public involvement of career politicians and much more interested in finding those from the outside whose main interests are still in individual freedom and the Constitution, not in government and their own political careers.

Sessions may be an exception, but I’ve come to the conclusion that career politicians are per se corrupt (natural self-interest has morphed into the #1 priority of advancing their own political prospects). I would say corruption of these people should be presumed and that career politicians like Sessions would need to clearly rebut that presumption.

Kasich’s plan isn’t to get himself elected.

It’s to prevent Trump from being elected.

My thought on Sessions is this.

He’s as solid a guy as their is in the Senate. That being said, I understand your argument. I still think Sessions would be a good asset because he could help Trump deal with Congress from the voice of experience.

I’m not backing him to go direction in the position of president, but I do believe after 4 or 8 years at Trump’s elboe, he might make a good one.

Hope so.

BTW, what I said in the last post is why I’ve changed my mind and now support a true term-limit amendment. Does more good than harm IMO.

I am not worried about Ohio at all. If trump loses, Kasick stays in to take out Cruz which I believe he will. Trump can then take out Kasick.

Well it was not announced until today on Fox.

The last debate was supposed to be the last one. I guess since the loser Mitt Romney will be entering there will be another round of debates?

Kasich certainly showed his true colors in the last few days, that’s for sure. The country needs leadership, not weakness and pandering.

Good analysis. Spot on with what my thoughts are. Some other points:

Why would Kasich come out right before the Ohio primary and brag about being for amnesty and making a point about doing so within first 100 days? Because both Kasich and Romney are insiders who back open borders. They've got the backing of the Cheap Labor Express crowd, US Chamber of commerce and corporate America. They don't want Trump to get elected and close the border and put a wall up.

I think we're seeing the GOPe's last hand played out here over the next couple of days. And Romney and Kasich are somehow part of their solution to stop Trump.

This "almost-but-not-really" endorsement of Kasich by Romney was not handled very well today but nonetheless I think it is still part of the master plan to put these two together for the final ticket.

I think the GOP will clear the deck in early ballot calls at the convention and put forth Romney/Kasich as the Republican ticket with the most delegates that the party should unify around.

Even after Trump secures the nomination, the meme will be that he only exceeded the minimum by X delegates.

And right now he does have to "get lucky' to secure the nomination. I understand Trump has 460 delegates and needs 1237 to clinch the nomination, which means he as 777 to go.

That's either a good spin on the slot machine or a new Boeing aircraft.

My fix to Congress would involve 60 to 90 day sessions each year, and no salary for Congressional members.

I might approve of housing, but it would be dormitory in style.

Let these folks earn a living like the rest of us.

Term limits is just fine. No more than two terms as a Senator and no more than five for a Congressman.

I honestly think these changes would improve a lot of things.

My ex sis in law told me today that Trump is running some really negative ads on Kasich. Just stating he has been an absent Governor, campaigning, only reason for a balanced budget was due to fracking, stuff about immigration and illegals, etc.

She is a Democrat, a teacher, but said she will vote for Kasich tomorrow. She said he has been a good Governor and that is coming from a hard staunch Democrat.

The debate was scheduled, the host was not until now.

Gag me with a spoon. Has it been announced that Romney will be in it? The only thing that could possibly persuade me to watch it would be to see Trump chew Romney up and spit him out. Otherwise, I think I’d rather have a root canal.

I’m with you. Seems like it would be a miracle for this and other needed things to happen, but God is watching over us and he’s the God of miracles.
