The Nice was certainly influenced by the breakthroughs the Beatles made on Revolver and Sgt Peppers.

I love emerson’s stuff and the beatles are my favorite band. I have studied emerson’s compositions and play some of them. There is little that is beatlesque in his compositions. Perhaps that may be the case for greg lake’s stuff and others that emerson collaborated with. But when it comes to keith’s stuff — the influences were classical and early 20th century.
