As a low-information, struggling Trump supporter, I don’t have any money to give, anyway. I live in one of those tiny houses on the prairie. I like to wake up to the sounds of chickens

That’s a Win-Win for the GOP and Trump. But, can trump get them to keep the PAC’s on a leash? There will be those stil attempting to quietly attack.

I am actually watching CNN. Weirdly I find them better this primary. Anyway, the stupid GOPe has probably spent whatever money trump would have used on trump bashing. However, I honestly do believe trump probably doesn’t want to take campaign donations, but I think it has to be a wait and see. It is insanely expensive during the general.

He has said before he wants money for the general election. Now he says he doesn’t. That’ll change a few more times between now and the convention.

We just have to make sure the GOPe do not use those extra dollars to fight against TEA party candidates in primaries

He also is saying he refuses further debates. That would be unfortunate. Last night’s debate was the first to actually hear policy and solutions. Let’s see Trump and Cruz go one on one.

Is he talking PAC, or federal election funds?

Well if he took money that would sink him so he has to self finance.

Interesting how we all watch/hear the same speech but hear different things. I didn’t hear him say he won’t take funds for general election. I believe he was speaking about primary and media was speaking about general...and lines got crossed. just my take; may be wrong. we’ll see.

I think I see the strategy. He doesn’t take any campaign fund but all those who want to help him, use the funds they want to give him to Anti Hillary Superpacs.

Allows him to continue to position himself as the “Outsider” going against the Insider, Hillary Clinton

I know ... he said that. But I think this has to do with SuperPACs. I plan to continue to donate to his campaign, but also need to watch out for not going over legal maximum limits. I think he is being out spent in a huge way - in the general he will be out spent in a monstrous way So I know what he is saying and what he means, but I will do whatever I can to help out as far as donations and such anyway.

That’s the deal I’ve suggested he make with the RNC. Get out of my way and stop the negative ads and I’ll raise my own general election money, leaving you to focus on down ticket races.

It’s probably the best they can hope for, and more than they deserve, but this would allow them to keep the Party machine intact. If they say no, then blow it all to hell.

He feels confident that he can keep all the Romney states, plus then ONLY have to flip these 5 states to get to 273:

MI
OH
FL
NC
NH

It’s definitely worth the gamble, since he knows the GOPe will have their own SuperPacs to do whatever they want.

Doesn’t want does not equal won’t take. He is accepting donations now (not sending them back) and making a profit on selling hats and shirts. For the general I think he’ll cap what any single individual can contribute well below the $2700 limit. With matching funds that will raise enough.

I understood him to actually say he had not made that decision yet... left it open. Did he actually say that? If so I missed it.LOL! which could certainly happen!

At the moment Trump is trumping them all by lowering his tone and coming across as presidential. I certainly hope he will still be ready to give Hillary what for.
