That’s six polls in a row where Hillary beats Trump by 5 % or more. The weird part is Trump keeps saying he’s beating Hillary in the polls.

Is that the only graph you have? Because that one seems to be an outlier. Any others where the eventual winner was polling less that the loser at this point in the election cycle? Truth is, I am hoping to see other polls which show the race between the two closer. Hopefully this NBC poll is off.

Expected. Trumps support is just operation chaos2.0

Dems know they can beat him so they’re voting in repub primaries hyping him on Conservative sites but once it’s Trump v hitlery they’ll vote for hitlery

There is 11% missing in this poll. 51+38=89

If it is a head to head the number should tally 100% shouldn’t it?

If there are 11% “undecided” I’d say that 8% to 10% of those are people that want to vote for Trump but are afraid to say so.

We see state polls where Trump beats PIAPS in that state and among various demographic groups. They are posted here on FR all the time. How is there such a discrepancy?

There could be 600 polls but they are all meaningless!

I wonder what the odds were last year of Trump winning the GOP nomination against Bush?

In the 90’s Texas Republicans chose the only Republican in the whole state who could lose to a liberal Democrat for governor, and we ended up with Anne Richards. Clayton Williams was just a disastrous candidate. He was an insult machine.

I fear we are doing the same thing with Trump. He’s going to get killed with African Americans, Hispanics, Muslims, Jews and women. I don’t think the demographics are there for him to win. IS he the only Republican in America who could lose to Hillary?

Yes, I think Rubio would beat Hillary pretty easily. The polls show him beating Hillary while Hillary beats Trump. I think he would make Hillary look old and yesterday. His knowledge base on issues is far above Trump’s, and he would run much stronger among women and hispanics.

This chart lists the last five polls of Rubio versus Hillary.

Well, what is not factored in is if we let the GOPe pick our candidate again, they will just lay down on all the controversies just like McCain and Romney did with 0bama. Especially with Romney, 0bama was very beatable but he just laid down and really didn’t fight.

Does anyone here think Donald Trump would just lay down and avoid talking about Hillary’s controversies? I believe Trump wouldn’t let her or Bill get away with anything. She is very beatable, IMO, if we just had a candidate that would put up a fight. I have no doubt Trump would put up that fight. Screw the GOPe!

i think maybe he’s trying to be a bit ‘more presidential’ since he’s in the lead.. this is a common tactic for persons in that position, the message being “I am the leader now so do not have to behave like a wild man to get media coverage, attention”..... and “you know you really do want a presidential kind of person as your president” —

the problem with this may be that America’s forgotten how a genuine American president behaves

This was more of an issues debate, and Trump’s knowledge base on the details of the different issues is just not in the league of the other three.

Trump did have a great line tonight though when he said the number 1237 delegates was just some random number someone came up with.

He’s good for a howler every day.

A poll 8 months ahead of the event is as reliable as a weather forecast 8 months ahead. Especially since Trump is busy demolishing his primary opponents one by one.

Look how Trump crushed Jeb, Carly, Kasich and Rubio. Hillary gives him a thousand times more dirt to work with.

Hillary will be lucky to come out of the campaign with her sanity intact... assuming she's sane now. I wouldn't be surprised to see a breakdown during the debate, with the witch melting right there on stage live in living color.

Wouldn't it be nice?

man I heard all this “this poll is crooked and that poll is crooked” last time and we LOST. badly.

but when the polls were good, people were like “we’ll take FIFTY STATES!!!”

how about we take the polls seriously so we MAKE SURE we put our all into it.

you guys understandably underestimate the number of #####s in this country.

educated whites under 35. single white women under 50. blacks. Hispanics. lgbt, Asian, Jewish, all go to dems.

and the overall male vote only went 8 percent to Romney.

women gave Obama 12.

I know, trump isn’t Romney, but let’s err on the side of caution.

I don’t believe the lead is THAT BIG but we have almost EVERY media outlet that is a big one against us!

that black kid getting punched will be the lead story and on every headline page tomorrow.

and the guy followed up saying the black kid could get killed next time because he might be ISIS.

press is gonna have a field day!!!

got Trump AND Cruz emails for help in NYC. Decision time for me.

Her defense is just going to be showing ad after ad with Trump praising her. What’s he supposed to say? Well I wasn’t telling the truth then but I am now?

Women don't like Hillary. Quite a few are going for Sanders and won't vote for Hillary in the general. Trump won't win the black vote but he'll do a lot better with blacks than any other Republican can, I estimate he gets 25% of the black vote. Muslims are insignificant. Hispanics have numbers but they have low voter turnout. Also, they don't vote solely on immigration. Trump won't do much worse with hispanics than Romney did. The smart Jews like Trump's strong stand against Islamic terror, and his suspected social moderation doesn't hurt.
