'Most Interesting Man In The World' Raises His Glass For Last Time
Minnesota Public Radio ^ | March 9, 2016 | Camila Domonoske

He lives vicariously through himself. He has won the lifetime achievement award, twice. In museums, he is allowed to touch the art. He is ...

... out of a job.

Since 2006, Jonathan Goldsmith has played The Most Interesting Man In The World in a popular series of ads for Dos Equis. His catchphrase — "I don't always drink beer. But when I do, I prefer Dos Equis" — has worked its way into Internet culture.

But his reign is ending. The newest ad for Dos Equis shows Goldsmith, as the Most Interesting Man, taking off in a spaceship on a one-way trip to Mars.

Apparently they are mum about his replacement. But it is supposed to be a much younger man.

Since the natural successor, Donald Trump, is bound for the White House, I suggest someone else from the public sphere who is bound to have a lot of extra time on his hands shortly:

Marco Rubio!

Marco Rubio!

TMIMITW needs a lot more gravitas that Marco has. He also needs a voice that doesn't sound like a lispy teenager's.

Get rid of that Liberty Mutual asshat while we are at it.

I suggest Idris Alba. I never want him to be the next James Bond, that role is for a Caucasian.

But Idris is an interesting guy and this gig would make a fine consolation prize, and calm the Jada Pinkett Smith’s of the world the hell down.

I like that Progressive Insurance ad where Flo keeps getting killed off throughout history.

The problem is, the fact that she keeps coming back makes her look like a super villain in those Halloween or Friday the 13th horror flicks...
