Mitt Romney, like most of America, does not believe Donald Trump should be the next President of the United States. While his logic in this matter is spot-on, it may be for very different reasons than he claims. Mitt Romney has filed paperwork with FEC to run in the current election and may be trying to block out Trump so he does not get the Republican nomination. This does not mean he has to run for President but it allows him to leave his options open.

And, for those of you who endlessly vilify Trump or Cruz and propagate the insider/outsider theories, save your hatred for the GOP leadership.
I think last night’s results amount to a moderate, at a minimum, FU to Milt Romney.
Doesn’t he have to win at least 8 states to even be considered??? I don’t see it..
The idea could be to offer up a different rep nominee, let Trump go 3rd party, have Hillary win and keep the status quo? And be able to blame 3rd party for splitting the vote?
He does until he doesn't. There's nothing stopping them from changing the rules.
“Doesn’t he have to win at least 8 states to even be considered??? I dont see it..’
How does he even get on the ballots? The deadline has passes in most states. Is he running as a write in?
Not according to the FEC website, updated daily.
It’s amazing how much vitriol Romney throws at Trump — we never saw that much criticism about Obama from him during his entire 2012 campaign!
Nobody can admire what Romney has done. You may not like Trump, but Romney is the vilest of the vile.
R0mney saves his vitriol for nominal Republicans. Democrats get a pass from him.
If this is true, this guy needs to be tarred, feathered, and hoisted up by a pitchfork left seining in the wind... For all to see.
Go away, Romney .... You lost.
What the hell happened to deadlines?
The GOPe is running Romney as a spoiler.
There is supposed to be an order to this. They should spend at least a week blaming Cruz for not dropping out and giving his votes to Rubio first /s.
Wow. A lot of people want what to me, is the worst job in the world. There is a reason you come out after eight years looking twenty five years older.
I think the deadline for getting on the ballots has passed for the primary season. I think he can still be on the ballots, should he “win” the nomination, for the general election. I could be wrong though.

“This idea, easily dismissed as a conspiracy theory, may have gained a little bit of traction. A committee called Romney For President Inc. filed documents to run for president in 2016 with the FEC. The FEC filing was amended on January 31, 2016. The filing noted Mitt Romney as president and Paul Ryan as selected VP.”
“Mitt Romney, like most of America, does not believe Donald Trump should be the next President of the United States.”......
I’d recommend that Romney and Kinsley Ryan both take a look at the number of people who attend Trump rallies, seems there are one hell of a lot more at Trumps than at ANY OTHER CANDIDATE’s. It happens at every event. So, tell me again the “most of American’s don’t support Trump. Romney was a loser and is still a loser.
I’m pretty sure that is the idea now. If there was any doubt in anyone’s mind about the duplicity, the outright arrogance of the GOPe, this should eliminate such doubt.
It’s unbelievable. If anything, this has cemented my resolve to vote for Trump in the general should he be the rightful winner of the nomination. And I’m a Cruzer!
No way am I voting for anyone but him or Cruz now. No stinking way. Whoever gets more delegates when the primary is over that’s who I’m behind, screw the convention.
mr. romneycare does not want to RUN for president,
but to run as a SPOILER or to be appointed.
mr. romneycare has ruined conservatives since
before 2008 because he is NOTHING but a plant from
the DNC and Soros.
That is only for outsiders. For the DC Uni-Party, pulse and respiration are all that is required, and they can be waived.
