Rubio chooses billionaire gay ‘marriage’ advocate to head his fundraising

WASHINGTON, D.C., March 8, 2016 (LifeSiteNews) -- Marco Rubio is staunchly pro-marriage, but he’s facing questions after the revelation that he is appointing Paul Singer, a major gay “marriage” proponent, as his campaign finance chairman.

Politico speculated that the choice is part of a Wall Street campaign to stop Donald Trump.  Merco Press claimed the choice "shows just how willing Rubio is to risk voter backlash in order to continue raising money for his campaign march."

Singer founded the hedge fund Elliot Management Corporation, and is worth about $2.2 billion according to Forbes. In 2012, he started a Super PAC devoted to promoting the gay agenda, personally donating $1 million.

Fortune reports that since endorsing Rubio in October, Singer has become one of Rubio’s top donors.

Rubio is expected to formally announce the pick on March 10.

Singer isn't the only pro-homosexual in Rubio's inner circle.  The candidate's deputy campaign manager, Rich Beeson, signed a legal brief asking the Supreme Court to impose same-sex "marriage" on all 50 states in its Obergefell v. Hodges decision last summer.

The "friend of the court" brief, signed by 300 Republicans, stated that a Constitutional right to homosexual "marriage" served "conservative values."

In 2015, Rubio's staff held quarterly meetings with the Log Cabin Republicans, a homosexual group that fought for same-sex "marriage."

Log Cabin Republicans president Gregory Angelo told Reuters last year that Rubio is "not as adamantly opposed to all things LGBT as some of his statements suggest."

Rubio has said that while he believes the states should define marriage, "we live in a republic and must abide by the law," referring to the Supreme Court's decision to constitutionalize homosexual "marriage."

He has also declined to support a constitutional amendment defining marriage as between one man and one woman.  He has said, however, that he intends to nominate justices who may be inclined to overturn the ruling.

Well Bush;s brother was available, but I heard he just got into bed with Cruz now.

The establishment wanted a bigger tent, I guess blue collar Dems and the working class are too rough for them and they would rather homosexuals, cross dressers and perverts

This is not the time for Rubio and his queer logic!

1. North Korea, just yesterday. threating to attack us with nukes

2.The Iranian's with their newly acquired 150 billion dollars -can simply buy nukes now!

3. Mullah Obama has already begun flying in his preset goal of 170,000 Islamic Muslim rapefugees! How many of these 170,000 will eventually beat, rape and murder our fellow Americans. How many of these 170,000 will arrive here - and eventually pull out machine guns on us.

4. The illegal mexican horde currently here and the illegal mexican hordes always enroute here -taking millions upon millions of jobs from Americans (white, black and hispanic Americans), swarming our schools, bankrupting our hospitals, raping and murdering fellow Americans. [and all the very slimy democrat politicians welcoming them -as potential democrat voters]

I'm voting for Trump!

Robot Rubio is pro-marriage just as he was anti-amnesty. Obviously he is not all that for traditional marriage and he definitely is all for amnesty.

If for no other reason, this should disqualify Rubio outright in the minds of conservatives.

(I know, Cruz has a similar relationship. But it wasn’t as an integral part of his team.)

Not surprising, neither should it be an embarrassment to him as he quite happily is assuming the role of one of the hitmen for the GOPe to take down Trump.

“he is appointing Paul Singer, a major gay “marriage” proponent, as his campaign finance chairman.”

Did they seal the deal at a foam party?

Did he tell Marco to drop to his knees?

GOP strategists, donors sign on to anti-Trump super PAC

CBS News ^ | March 2, 2016 | By Reena Flores

Paul Singer, hedge fund manager and leading gay activist---Rubio backer and now anti-Trump super pac contributor---amazing how just a little bit of research and things make so much sense.

Todd Ricketts---his sister Laura is gay rights activist, member of Chicago Gay and Lesbian Hall of Fame and a variety of other awards and positions.

Cruz collects all that money from those gay billionaire hoteliers in New York City, Rubio from the Singer fellow, now all join together as gay activists against Donald Trump.

I'm detecting a pattern here, like maybe the anti-gay marriage etc bs of Trump's opponents are pandering to gays and gay money men and women...

Is it true that Ted will not be influenced by gay culture warriors give the following excerpt from The New York Times (Feb 3, 2016)?

..Ted Cruz sounded despondent at the possibility that same-sex marriage could become legal when he called into the radio show of Tony Perkins, a vehement opponent of gay rights, in February 2014. “Our heart weeps for the damage to traditional marriage that has been done,” Mr. Cruz said, urging conservatives to pray but also to fight back. “Be as wise as serpents and gentle as doves,” he said, quoting Scripture.

But seven months later, when Mr. Cruz visited the Midtown Manhattan office of a major Republican supporter of same-sex marriage, he sounded almost indifferent: If New York politicians wanted to legalize it, that was their business, he told Paul Singer, the billionaire investor who had bankrolled efforts to strike down laws forbidding same-sex marriage across the country. There was no reason the issue had to drive a wedge between the two men, the Texas senator said, according to a person briefed on the meeting who supports one of Mr. Cruz’s opponents. (Mr. Singer went on to endorse Senator Marco Rubio of Florida a year later.)

Mr. Cruz would hardly be the only person to modulate his most provocative language when speaking to people whose support he is courting. But Mr. Cruz, the winner of the Iowa caucuses, has worked harder than any Republican running for president to portray himself as the true and pure conservative and to impugn his rivals as not faithful enough in their conservatism......

Exactly. This is why true conservatives are backing Trump. There has never been a more clear divide between Republicans and Conservatives. What is a Republican these days anyway? I know what a Liberal believes in, but what does a Republican believe? We simply cannot trust them anymore, and if we do, we will be sorely disappointed. Trump is what he is. I like to think of him as a Viking Death Ship that will destroy the diseased Republican party once and for all.

Democrats mean a fast death for our beloved Country. Sadly, Republicans mean just a slower death.

Trump can make a difference.
