Three hours of lecturing is not what Tina Fey signed up for when she attended the Oscars on Sunday.
In an interview with Howard Stern on Tuesday, the Whiskey Tango Foxtrot star, 45, said she was annoyed with all of the speeches on social issues during the three-hour ceremony.
'I'm so glad I live here [in New York City], because halfway through [the Oscars], I was like, "This is some real Hollywood bull****."
'Everyone's telling me what to do. People are yelling at me about rape and corporate greed, but really, it's climate change.
Unimpressed: Tina Fey was not impressed with all of the lecturing at Sunday night's Academy Awards. The Whiskey Tango Foxtrot actress is pictured above on the Oscars red carpet
'I was like, "Guys, pick a lane. Like we're going to fix everything tonight." And also, like, "You're all rich. Why are you yelling at me about corporate greed?"' Fey recalled.
Before the red carpet was even rolled out this year, the Academy Awards were steeped in controversy as several Hollywood big shots vowed to boycott the ceremony in solidarity with the #OscarsSoWhite movement.
In his opening monologue, Chris Rock addressed the movement by schooling Hollywood on systemic racism that leaves black actors at a disadvantage in the industry.
Later on in the ceremony, Vice President Joe Biden showed up to speak about rape culture, and 'The Big Short' writer Adam McKay called out presidential candidates who 'take money from big banks, oil or weirdo billionaires' as he accepted the award for Best Adapted Screenplay'.
But the most memorable part of the night was when Leonardo DiCaprio accepted his first ever Oscar, only to spend most of his time on the podium warning about the effects of climate change.

Liberals feasting on each other.
I’m gonna need more popcorn.
Karma, baby.
She’s as guilty as any of them.

Did Leo happen to mention the 500-foot-long yacht, err cruise ship he rented to party on? What was the carbon footprint on that Leo? Oh forgot, you don’t like to be asked while pretending for fools.
There’s video of it, too.
Which part of the ‘lecture’ did she not care for? Were there any suggestion boxes located in the lobby?
This is her chosen profession and colleagues. If she doesn’t like it, DO something about it or get out of it. Complaining on the sidelines is useless.
This is so hilarious. You can bet there are many like her that are getting tired of the nonsense.
Well, she helped build it all.
I feel sorry for her like I do for the Saudis who have been funding and apologizing for extreme radicals for decades.
Like I say, more popcorn.
Tina can see Hollywood from her house....
And they wonder why it has one of the lowest ratings for viewership.
I looked at the article, it mentions the Chris Rock diatribe about how blacks are so put upon, but it didn’t mention Fey’s reaction to that tripe.
I like Tina. She’s one of the best comedy writers we have today.
Personally, I have long held, that Actors should act, I am not interested in their political view, never have been, and am offended by their taking the podium and force feeding their brand of social justice or political leanings in an entertainment forum, against my will. IMO they do this because its the only venue where they can be heard, as no talk show cares about their views. They are not on the news, because they are not news worthy. I am not interested in their views on the LGBT issues, I don’t care about Bruce Jenner or his struggle to be other than how he was born.
PLEASE Entertainment community. Entertain. Other than that, I don’t care about your opinion, and when its my time or money, keep your opinions to yourself.
” And also, like, “You’re all rich. Why are you yelling at me about corporate greed?”’ Fey recalled. “
Even the phony Fey couldn’t swallow this wad......LOL
I didn’t watch it. I think that she has some talent, and I hope that she continues to question the liberal agenda.
But that's not saying much.
Yep, she should have thought about that before ragging on Palin.
I like Kristen Wiig, too.
Lenny is a buttwart!
So who is this Leocarpo Dinardio guy?
