The Brazilian economy shrank 3.8% in 2015, according to government data published Thursday. That's the biggest annual drop since 1990 and the country is in its longest recession since the 1930s.

Brazil is a political basket case. A friend living there said they have 33 political parties and they all have the word socialist or communist in their name.
IOW, the leftist leadership will use this as a pretext to suspend constitutional law.
What Brazil really needs is more Govt regulation, taxes, welfare (vote buying), and Govt control. It has done so much for them and other Socialist countries around the world.
