Rush is having to do some serious mental gymnastics to try and justify some of the other tangents that he has gone down lately. He is trying to protect his brand, but his credibility is starting to get stretched thin.

Remember, Murdock met with the "conservative radio" guys a while back. Every one I know of (and I could list them) is 100% pro globalism and anti-Trump.

Trump with great vision identified the two biggest issues that we must correct to make America great again, to bring back jobs, and to prevent the world from sliding into thirdworld wages and lifestyle"

Immigration

Trade

Anyone interested, just google the TPP agreement and you'll see where we're headed (NAFTA x 10) with other TPP-style agreements to follow. The list of things that ream out America is too long for a post. Please read it yourself, read of Cruz (both Mr. and Mrs.) involvement in it, in "free" trade", which is not free---another word they've co-opted and changed the meaning of. Same with "conservatism"---we've let them redefine "conservatism" to mean what really GLOBALISM means. And nationalism/patriotism they have defined as "phony conservative."

The big problem with "free trade" arguments, today, is that the sense of community, which used to involve a two way alliance between the blue collar laborers in an industrial town, and the management of the local mill, is now dead, or virtually dead. Thus the acceleration of plant-closings, and moving enterprises.

Hopefully, Trump will rekindle a new sense of patriotism and mutual or reciprocal loyalty. Absent that, it quickly becomes all about immediate--short term advantage--with no one considering the long term needs of a healthy community.

You do the math, how many man-hours do yo think it takes to build an iPhone? To make an entire car it averages 30 man-hours. So with an iPhone we are talking about something with way less individual assemblies and parts.

I just can't listen to his BS anymore. He is out of touch.

He spends so much time hobnobbing and golfing with the elites, he feels he has to go round and round instead of criticizing the globalism they exude.

Rush is between a rock and a hard place when it comes to committing to a candidate. The odds-on favorite is Trump. But he is far off the reservation from Rush’s brand of Conservatism.

But if he commits to someone else and they lose it will greatly damage his brand.

Correction of one word: Trump with great vision identified the two biggest issues that we must correct to make America great again, to bring back jobs, and to prevent the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA from sliding into third world wages and lifestyle.

Immigration

Trade

This is really what Charles Murray gets at in his book “Coming Apart.” Having been a free trader all my life, it is worth SOME level of higher prices to have cities that aren’t hollowed out shells and to have jobs for people who aren’t Ph.D material.

Free trade is national suicide if you can’t reduce costs here at home and, in our current environment, you can’t.

And why can’t we reduce costs: big government (Marxism).

- economy killing regulations
- forced unionization
- forced socialist programs
- high taxes
- forced minimum wages
- war on capitalism
- war on industry
- open borders
- foreign labor
- globalism

If you can’t reduce costs, you can’t compete. You lose your manufacturing base, your heavy industry, your jobs, your economy, your freedom, your nation.

We already have government (mis)managing EVERYTHING. That’s the problem. Free trade by itself is not a magical solution. Getting government out of our lives, out of commercial enterprise and out of trying to control our economy would be a far better place to start.

We need to increase the H-1B visa quota for talk show hosts!

LOL! A most excellent suggestion! Let's get the GOPe on this ASAP.

A lot of very ignorant people when told labor is 10 times more in the USA assume that you multiply the cost of a “widget” by ten to get to the retail price. So that is how you get the myth(lie) of $50 dollar Made in the USA pliers. Free Traitors™ take advantage of that stupidity.

Listen to all the “conservatives” supporting Apple using Chinese sweatshops to produce their overpriced gizmos.

Your absolute disregard for Chinese workers and your own fellow citizens is why “conservatism,” as it is defined by the GOPe/Cheap Labor Express, is held in such disrepute.

Leaving our towns and cities drowning in drug addiction and welfare dependency in the name of cheap consumer crap is NOT “conservativism” in any way shape or form.

Listened to him for about half an hour today and turned him off. He has to be on the drugs again. He too is losing it.

He's become a shiftless, dumpy, intellectual stumble bum looking for love handouts from the NWO.

He is trying to protect his brand, but his credibility is starting to get stretched thin.

Rush is 65 and I suspect he will be hanging up the mike before long. The era of his brand of Conservatism is coming to an end. Too many people have lost faith in the economic aspects of it. The country is becoming more secular and the cultural side of it is eroding away. Trump is what the right side of our politics is going to look like for the foreseeable future.

Hell, we'll be lucky if we can hold the gates when the next wave of Bernie Sanders Socialists come of voting age. Not to mention few people under 45 even listen to radio anymore.

Rush tried to push Jeb, and that failed.

Then Rush tried to push Rubio and that is failing.

Rush will jump on the Romney train within 2 weeks, and it will fail too.

Romney is a loser.

Do you really think they could hire people in Detroit who could operate on the assembly line?

What would their labor costs be for every single person who would do everything they could to find “something” to sue Apple with?

I think encryption should be separated from the device manufacturers.

Secondly, the “backdoor” thing is because the iPhone has to store your passcode in one for or another so the iPhone can recognize when the proper passcode is typed in.

Here’s how to eliminate the iPhone-storing-your-passcode problem. Use the current passcode only for getting into the iPhone. The encryption of data can be done with a different passcode that doesn’t need to be stored in the iPhone.
