Rick Perry, who has twice dropped out of races for the Republican presidential nomination, isn't ruling out another shot at the White House.
The former Texas governor told CNN that he wouldn't be surprised if there's a brokered convention for the Republican nomination this year - and hinted if that happened he might be ready to give it another go.

Perry said if there's a "brokered" convention then it would be "a whole new ballgame for everyone."
Without a clear consolidation of the field, many have floated the possibility of Republicans going to Cleveland this summer without a presumptive nominee, meaning no candidate received the needed number of pledged delegates. In that case, any person may be nominated, and voted for, on the nomination ballot.

Once again the brokered convention led by the GOPe.
Hahaha.
I suspect any talk of this goes out the window in the next couple weeks.
If they don’t want Trump to get a majority of delegates, somebody else is gonna have to start winning some.
Donald will need 54% of delegates to avoid a brokered convention. I think he can do that with Ben Carson or Kasich, or maybe he can do it alone.
Just what in the Wide World of Sports is going to happen to Trump’s lead between now and the convention? What is driving these stupid “brokered convention” stories?
Oops! He’s struck again.
Rick needs to put down that tube of glue, and seek help.
It’s almost time for a Hitler video where his GOPe brokered convention idea is shredded and he goes off on a rant.
Why not 51 percent? Is this a GOP rules thing?

Houston (CNN)Marco Rubio’s campaign is preparing for a contested Republican Convention as one option to take the GOP nomination away from Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, his campaign manager told top donors at a closed-door meeting in Manhattan Wednesday night.

Sullivan has acknowledged in the past that a brokered convention might be hypothetically possible, but Wednesday’s comments are a concrete indication that the campaign is preparing for such an outcome.
Sullivan gave a “technical” explanation of how a contested or brokered convention would work. According to the sources in the room, the gathering appeared to be a matter-of-fact recognition by the Rubio campaign that a contested convention is very much a possibility.
Get in line, Romney is already auditioning.
Trump will have more than enough delegates to win the nomination on the first ballot. The establishment would actually have to steal it from him in order to keep him from being nominated. I don’t know if they are ready for the backlash that would follow.
The Man from Merck is back again...
He’s like a Rubot recording being played back on the wrong speed...same BS just said more slooooowly.
If the GOPe pulls a brokered convention, I’ll be voting democrat, period.
The scum GOP are planning a brokered convention to get thier guy in and continue the corrupt criminal operations with the rats
He really is a dreamer, isn’t he?
My understanding is 54% is needed to overcome any effects of superdelegates. Wish I had a link.
