There is not a day goes by that Free Republic is not LOADED with articles by supporters of both Ted Cruz and Donald Trump. As those articles get posted, they get hits all day long, the total of which over the last few months has to be in the hundreds of thousands, if not millions. The advocacy is intense, passionate, rational, political.
I imagine these same people take from Free Republic each day something that they share with other friends or family outside of Free Republic. In other words, they are strengthened in their advocacy of their candidate simply by being here.
And so are Ted Cruz and Donald Trump.
If I want slanted, biased news, then I go to Fox, CNN, or any of the other alphabets. If I want a real, in the forum debate on facts, then I come to Free Republic. If I want ALL of the news, and not just that promoted by the agenda driven media, then I come to Free Republic. If I want real-time discussion with the best discussion software on the planet, then I come to Free Republic.
So, Donald, Ted....you need to pony up some cash for the freepathon. FR is sending people into the precincts. FR is sending ideas, fully debated, to the people. Free Republic is a boon to you.
And tell your supporters on Free Republic that they should be doing their fair share, too. They wouldn't have this great forum and a VOICE THAT ACTUALLY GETS HEARD, if it weren't for Free Republic.
Hear that? Time to do your part.

...round 2 a.m. on Sunday, we discovered from another Cruz staffer that the book in question in the video was the Bible, and we updated the post accordingly. But this significantly changed the meaning of Rubio's words as originally transcribed, as it now purported to show Rubio pointing to the Bible and saying "not a lot of answers in there." Later, the accuracy of that transcription was brought into question due to the unclear audio; upon returning to Philadelphia Sunday evening, we updated the post to reflect uncertainty over what was said...
But Cruz Communications Director Rick Tyler had shared the original post on Twitter and Facebook earlier Sunday.

Your guy, the constitutionally defective freak Trump, acts in a highly immoral way in plain sight. Not a staffer, but Trump himself.
When professional victim Carson was approaching Trump in the polls back in November, Trump compared him to a child molester; said he was just as sick as a child molester.
When called on it by Cruz in a debate, Trump didn’t try to defend that statement, but simply said “I wanted his votes.”
But all standards are thrown out the window when it comes to Trump, because of the homo-erotic crush his followers have for the guy.
I couldn’t agree more... except with that “trump is your guy” thing.
Cruz’s people give as well as they get.

Well, I can see why Trump should pay for his advertising; I’m puzzled as to why I should pay for his advertisements! He’s not my candidate. I used to think this was a news site but that doesn’t happen any more.
Are there any Cruz supporters left here any more? All I see are insults, rants and spam political videos and advertisements!
