Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. said there "is no police brutality in America," only "isolated" acts of violence the liberals and the media exploit for political reasons, adding that the "progressive" policies of the left have "failed to fix poverty" and the countless other social cancers they promised to cure.
There is "no police brutality in America," but there is "a truth problem," said Sheriff Clarke in a recent commentary in The Hill.
"It starts with political insiders deciding to take aim at our police forces to distract from the abysmal failure of liberal policies to fix the horror of life in our inner-city black communities," said the sheriff.

"Progressives can't let the public see the truth of how they have failed to fix poverty, to fix families, to fix schooling, or to fix health," said Sheriff Clarke. "They've taken your tax dollars but they have nothing to show but broken homes and broken communities. They've promised that government can fix everything, but it hasn't."
"What we have on our hands is a classic cover-up," he said.
Liberals and "the media scour the country for reprehensible but rare times when police act in the wrong," said the sheriff. "It happens, there's no excuse, and the victims have every right to seek remedy through our justice system and to air their grievances in the public forum our Constitution affords them."
"I sympathize with them and I take the burden of these rare events on my own shoulders," he said. "But the term 'police brutality' is a lie. These isolated, terrible incidents that I work every day to ensure never happen are something quite different. The correct term is 'savage physical violence.'"

Savage physical violence describes the unreasonable use of force against everyday citizens," said Sheriff Clarke. "It's wrong, it's unlawful, and it's unacceptable. It's also rare, and while deplorable, it is not systemic in nature in the way that the left would like to scare Americans, particularly in the inner cities, into thinking."
In conclusion, he said. "It is the failed policies of the left you cover up when you continue to use the term 'Police Brutality' when it's their policies of dependency and manipulation that are to blame."
David A. Clarke Jr., a Democrat, was elected to a 4-year term as the sheriff of Milwaukee County in 2002, and was re-elected in 2006, 2010 and 2014. In those elections he won, respectively, with 74%, 78%, 74%, and 79% of the vote.
Donald Trump should have this man on his short list for vice-president. His positives are too numerous to count.
It would be the RADICAL appointment that would rock the democrat party
David Clarke - The only democrat I ever voted for. He is a ray of sunshine in otherwise bleak Milwaukee.
The people of Milwaukee should thank God every day for sheriff Clarke.
Or anything else other than the fat bank accounts of their Dear Leaders!

What he lacks in legislative knowledge, he can make up for by virtue of a really sharp intellect.
He would cut into Hillary’s black vote. He would put Wisconsin in play. He would be a voice for reason with minorities and on behalf of minorities.
He is really sharp and ready with a great response, and I’ve heard him on other national issues.
And his being a democrat is a reminder that most democrats of old were law and order, pro-America, pro-family, pro-God, pro-Gun patriots.
He could be a linch-pin to help unite Reagan democrats to Trump.
So, everyone who believes that should write The Donald a short note listing the benefits of doing so.
Just for clarification, since it is a partisan office, he has run as a Democrat even though he claims no other affiliation with the party. There is obviously a reason for this and it drives the WI Democrat party leaders nuts.

I would not go as far as VP, but; this man certainly is exceptionally smart, good at his job, well spoken, etc. I might put him in DHS as boss. He certainly would be a good at coordinating state and fed resources as he is not abrasive. I like sheriff Joe also. He is much different.
“Progressives” - nothing more than a nicer sounding name for liberals, racists, socialists abd communists.
Not only did they fail to fix the poverty, family issuess, schooling, or healthcare that plague us. They do so intentionally.
They do their best to make these issues greater and to use them to divide us into interest groups - to keep us separated and at each others throats.

To liberals “progress” means a never ending process of destroying societies in order to replace them with a “worker’s paradise”.
What he says is truth. But when is the black community going to realize that relying on the government to solve your problems is an exercise in futility?

Agree that Sheriff Clarke should be considered, by Trump, for VP short list or DHS...something, somewhere in his admin.
Sheriff Clarke is excellent....love hearing this man speak the truth to the lib lies!!
