Marco Rubioâs Got Two Words to Sum Up Trumpâs âBizarreâ Story About Pigâs Blood
By Mike Miller (20 hours ago) | Elections
Marco Rubio was asked on âTodayâ his thoughts about Donald Trump relating a tale during a campaign rally about an American general dipping bullets in pigâs blood and using them to execute Muslim prisoners.
Regardless of the veracity â or lack thereof â of the story, Rubio said he hopes the campaign can get back to seriousness, vs. the âcircus aspectâ surrounding Trump that dominates the news every day.
History is hard for Rubio.
I heard this story before Rubio was born...
from the 1938 book Jungle Patrol:
https://web.archive.org/web/20011221094903/http://www.bakbakan.com/junglep/jp-17.html
It was Colonel Alexander Rodgers of the 6th Cavalry who accomplished by taking advantage of religious prejudice what the bayonets and Krags had been unable to accomplish. Rodgers inaugurated a system of burying all dead juramentados in a common grave with the carcasses of slaughtered pigs. The Mohammedan religion forbids contact with pork; and this relatively simple device resulted in the withdrawal of juramentados to sections not containing a Rodgers. Other officers took up the principle, adding new refinements to make it additionally unattractive to the Moros. In some sections the Moro juramentado was beheaded after death and the head sewn inside the carcass of a pig. And so the rite of running juramentado, at least semi-religious in character, ceased to be in Sulu. The last cases of this religious mania occurred in the early decades of the century. The juramentados were replaced by the amucks ... who were simply homicidal maniacs with no religious significance attaching to their acts.
Technically it was pig blood and FAT I think.
Regardless, Marco fails History class and Trump will give him his grade, I’m sure.
Rubio is a lifetime govt employee. His education is good enough for govt work.
For a first generation American, Rubio. shows little regard for American history, when he describes an event perpetrated by an American hero, Gen. Pershing as “circus aspect”, just illustrates how his roots are in Cuba.
Another obvious similarity between guys like Rubio (and Bush and Kasich), is they are always telling us “that’s not how Americans think” or words to that effect. As if they were somehow the national conscience or something.
Trump tells the Persing pigs blood story and delights in the audience’s roaring response. He says “we don’t win anymore” and nobody boos him for saying that everything isn’t sunshine and roses. He talks about the stupid deals our incompetent leaders have made that are robbing us of our future and people applaud his honesty.
The reason is because Trump tells these stories in the context of making American great again. He doesn’t put America down, he just points out how great things used to be and offers a way to regain that stature. That is called inspiration leadership.
Marco would cite statistics to argue the minutia and propose wonky plans that never would make a dent in the problem after spending billions and years of effort.
Inspirational leadership is what is going to help Trump win.
I heard the attached story years ago...they may both be true:
urbanlegends.about.com/library/bl_black_jack_pershing.htm
Tell you what I’m tired of, is people crying crocodile tears for Muslim extremists and terrorists.
We are not talking about burying the kid next door in pig’s blood. These were fanatical murderers and we have them today in droves.
I would do whatever stops them.
-----------
Did you notice what Trump audience members were chanting as Trump went on stage to give his victory speech that no other candidate's people chanted?
USA! USA! USA! USA!
I am in Trump's camp come hell or high water - these others - I don't know them.

Actually, no. FWIW, according to this Rubio said "regardless of the veracity or lack thereof of the story....". He didn't say it was untrue, just not relevant to the campaign. Notice, he did not call Trump a liar.
The story was reported as true even in the newspapers of the time and in several accounts. That's why most mews reports dropped the story so quickly, one would assume. Trump does seem to know military history.
I don’t care if Pershing did this or not. I want the current crop of head choppers to KNOW that’s what’s going to happen to them!
Since 911 I’ve said we have a way to stop all aircraft high jackings. You know those little oxygen masks that fall down when there’s not enough oxygen? Simply fill the thing with pork rinds. Along with some air to breath you also get a snack.
Well, his exact words were “it’s doubtful whether that even happened” and “I’ve never heard that story before”, which I’d say is more than enough for Trump to ridicule his knowledge of history with.
It does point out the weakness I think we saw before in Rubio - an inability to think on his feet and another example showing how quickly he snaps back into this talking-points. That whole spiel about the Presidency being a serious job and moving away from “the circus aspect” - I assure you that was a memorized response that he played-back as soon as he could, because that is his comfort zone.
Marco shilling for the muslims again , he already has said in one of his debates that he would visit a mosque.
What's worried me for some time is that these people are not afraid to die. This is an impossible enemy to face. History is replete with stories of conquering and conquered armies who fought valiantly...because they wanted to LIVE.
This is an enemy who wants to die; they "fight" by using suicide tactics, because they believe they will automatically go to heaven and receive the blessings of Allah and get their 72 virgins.
Bet they would change if they started being sprayed first with pig's blood and then gunned down.
I am not kidding. This a tactic our military should adopt with Trump as CIC.
Something that is NEVER heard at a Hillary or Bernie rally.
