Post South Carolina Results - "The Looming Inferno"

Be of good cheer and enjoy the removal of one-half of the globalists 2016 objectives; indeed a difficult Rubicon has been successfully traversed. However, do not be naive in thinking one significant battle means the war has been won.

The bloodiest battle still lays ahead.

Jeb Bush has been forced out of the race. It cannot be overstated how significant this victory is in the grand scheme of things. The foundational block, upon which the entire road-map was built, has been removed. However, the GOPe engineers will now shift attention to a scorched earth campaign to benefit their retention of power.

We would all be wise to remember in 2014 Chris McDaniel actually defeated Thad Cochran in the first GOP Mississippi primary. It was only after their initial defeat the GOPe decided to destroy anything that stood in their way - again, the retention of power was the ultimate motivator.

We can now expect those same DC influences, including the entire camp that supported Jeb Bush, the old guard, to work diligently (albeit under darkened cover) to assist Hillary Clinton, and destroy anything that would interrupt their grip on power.

Yes, the GOPe would rather lose to Hillary and retain their place at the trough than to see entry into their cloistered club by the Vulgarian Donald Trump.

This was when the GOPe lost me forever. They are a filthy bunch. A GOPe candidate is no better than a democrat.

“This was when the GOPe lost me forever. They are a filthy bunch. A GOPe candidate is no better than a democrat.”

The GOPe and the Democrats operate off of the same playbook. Their goals are not tremendously different. The major difference that they have is their strategy of how to appeal to the public.

There really is not much difference between GOPe and democrats.

It was actually mostly democrats that tried to spare us from that TPP trade agreement that sells American workers down the river.

Conservatives were against the Obama TPP agreement. The GOPe are the ones that rammed it down our throats. I have absolutely no trust in them.

The ruling coalition is united around several things that the people are against. They are skilled at setting up phony issues (or issues that don’t concern the Federal government) to break up the formation of any possible other coalition.

Republicans and Democrats agree that the purpose of the State is redistribution. How much, and to whom, and under what circumstances, there are disagreements. But no elected officials of either Party believe that it is wrong to take from you and give to another of their own choosing, for reasons that make sense to them.

Republicans and Democrats agree that you have “rights” - lots of them. They also agree that any question ABOUT your “rights”, or whether or not something IS a “right”, should not be decided by a political process because that is “divisive”. So, they both agree that the voice of “the People” as contemplated in Articles IX and X can only be voiced by nine unelected life tenure judges, and that five of them, at any time or for any reason, can give new “rights” and take away old ones, particularly if those old ones arise out of majority voting.

Republicans and Democrats all believe in “diversity”. They, ignoring completely the results of all social science research on this subject, and contrary to millennia of human experience and wisdom, believe that the more “diverse” our country, its institutions, and any private entities within her become, the more cohesive and productive we will become.

Republicans and Democrats almost all believe in “free trade” and “immigration”. These things are good for various constituencies of both parties while they wreck the economy and the nation.

Many of the People, perhaps a majority, do not believe in any of these things. But in our existing system, captive as it is to the MSM-mandated “process” for choosing two candidates for POTUS neither of whom will change a thing, leaves the People with no voice.

Something’s gonna blow.

This is the crux of the matter: The retention of power is the ultimate motivator. The Politicians--of every stripe--will destroy anything that threatens their place at the trough.

the GOPe decided to destroy anything that stood in their way – again, the retention of power was the ultimate motivator.

Donald Trump is Alexander, slashing through the Gordian Knot.

Good point. Cruz fought the Washington Republican establishment. Got to give the man credit for that.

Cruz voters, and their advocates, are emotionally driven by social issues. Hence they yell a lot (See Mark Levin) and only respond well to others who are inside their echo-chamber.

I believe I read that Chris McDaniel is backing Cruz, but I could be wrong. He wasn’t for Jebbie though.

Sundance river analogy is bad. He should have mentioned the Rhine

The allies crossing the Rhine was a mark of victory in a war, a point from which victory was possible

Crossing the Rubicon was a political act of personal life or political death. Thee was no war involved.

I can’t believe such an article was written for a website with the word “conservative” in it. The pure contempt for actual conservative voters (Cruz’s supporters) was up there with any Democrat’s!
So, the goal is to make conservative voters angry, not give them any voice, so that they stay home and vote! Wow! That strategy worked out so well for Romney, didn’t it?

And calling conservatives “right-wing”, “far-right”, “crazies” (or similar such words) is really endearing to people who don’t want anything more than their public officials follow the Constitution! Crazy bastards!

Actually crossing the Rubicon was the start of a Roman civil war.

I saw some real nastiness in Cruz last night. He knows it’s over after losing to both Trump & Rubio. I think he’d be happy taking down Trump and giving the nom to Rubio at this point. That would get him back in the good graces of the GOPe.
