Seattle experienced a sharp drop in employment of more 11,000 jobs between April and December last year

Social engineering usually fails.

See, there’s no need for a federal minimum wage. States and municipalities have the power to commit economic suicide.

“Seattle experienced a sharp drop in employment of more 11,000 jobs between April and December last year...”

And that includes the boom months around Christmas. They aren’t gonna like what happens this year at all...

The Seattle socialists will just pass a law saying businesses are not allowed to go out of business because of the $15/hr. pay.

LOW MILITARY PAY WAS NOT MENTIONED IN THE STATE OF THE UNION SPEECH. JUST INCREASING THE MINIMUM WAGE WAS... HAMBURGERS, OR MINIMUM WAGE.

FOR THOSE FAST FOOD EMPLOYEES STRIKING FOR $15 AN HOUR LET’S DO SOME MATH....AT $15 AN HOUR, JOHNNY FRY-BOY WOULD MAKE $31,200 ANNUALLY.

AN E1 (PRIVATE) IN THE MILITARY MAKES $18,561. AN E5 (SERGEANT) WITH 8 YEARS OF SERVICE ONLY MAKES $35,420 ANNUALLY.

SO YOU’RE TELLING ME, MCBURGER FLIPPER, THAT YOU DESERVE AS MUCH AS THOSE KIDS GETTING SHOT AT, DEPLOYING FOR MONTHS IN HOSTILE ENVIRONMENTS, AND PUTTING THEIR COLLECTIVE ASSES ON THE LINE EVERY DAY PROTECTING YOU....!

HERE’S THE DEAL, BACONATOR, YOU ARE WORKING IN A JOB DESIGNED FOR A KID IN HIGH SCHOOL WHO IS LEARNING HOW TO WORK AND EARNING ENOUGH FOR GAS, AND HANGING OUT WITH THEIR EQUALLY GOOFY HIGH SCHOOL PALS.

IF YOU HAVE CHOSEN THIS AS YOUR LIFE LONG PROFESSION, YOU HAVE FAILED. IF YOU WANT ABOVE MINIMUM WAGE....HAVE ABOVE MINIMUM SKILLS!!.

IF YOU CAN READ THIS, THANK A TEACHER....IF IT’S IN ENGLISH, THANK A VETERAN.

THIS IS AN EXCERPT FROM THE MOAA (MILITARY OFFICERS ASSOCIATION OF AMERICA) FEBRUARY 2016 NEWSLETTER.

I also wonder what the work environment is for those still employed. I’m sure they get held a lot more accountable at 15 bucks an hour than they did at 7.50.

I wish this article was on CNN or USA Today or something that more eyeballs will see. I am sick and tired of calling out liberals and being called a liar or “oh I see that is a conservative site”.....bla bla bla.

libtards don’t care about debt crises and unemployment crises. They just use them as an excuse for even more libtard policies. They know never let a crisis ruin their fantasies.

My nephew in Seattle let his employer know, at the beginning of summer, that he would be leaving, in September, to go to college. The boss told him he was glad, as nephew had done a fine job for him, and he was going to have to let him go by that time, as his payroll was unaffordable.
