Cruz has a golden opportunity to shut Trump down. Can he rise to the moment?
It would be good for Cruz if Trump did sue him over the NBC issue. It would take it off the table once and for all.
As for suing over campaign ads, that’s just stupid. It’s called lying ass politicians.

I am for Cruz, but he needs to get back on message and ignore the attack, plus take the higher road.

Their internal polling must not be good...Head of SuperPAC basically conceding a loss Saturday, Cruz putting out the Pro Life statement and now the presser...I don’t blame him though for going full throttle.
Agreed. Trump has got into his head and off his message.
Why Cruz is doing what he has is bewildering to me, especially when he now sees his numbers falling and looks to have lost SC, and NV now.

This is silly. Cruz is having a town hall tonight. He can rattle off all his crap in front of an audience who will eat it up. This press conference will be ignored mostly. He is running the worst campaign in history. I actually think he thought he was going to be nominated when he started.

Trump is having one at the same time on a competing channel. Cruz probably knows no one will be watching his, so he’s going out now and looking like a fool.
This is sad to watch.
