A Maryland sheriff has published an open letter blasting President Obama for his silence on the uptick in deaths of law enforcement officers across the country, including two sheriff's deputies in Harford County.
"Dear President Obama," wrote Carroll County Sheriff Jim DeWees, in the letter he posted to Facebook on Saturday. "In case you haven't heard, eight American police officers over the past eight days have been killed in the line of duty. Two of these police officers were Harford County Sheriff's Deputies that were gunned down at a Panera Restaurant just 50 miles from where you live. I've watched and listened intently for words of encouragement and sorrow to come from you, but haven't heard or seen anything."
The letter comes after Harford County Sheriff's Deputy Patrick Dailey and Senior Deputy Mark Logsdon were killed by a gunman during a shootout last Wednesday in Abingdon, Maryland.
"Conversely, just two weeks ago my governor, Larry Hogan, spent the better part of a week placing a call each day to one of my deputies that was involved in a severe traffic collision in Carroll County," Sheriff DeWees continued. "He wasn't satisfied with speaking to me in order to send his prayers and regards; he called every day after the collision until he spoke with my deputy's wife. Governor Hogan also drove to Harford County the day after two deputies were slain to meet Sheriff Gahler and the men & women of his office to grieve with them...

0bama has been very busy fundraising and golfing on the West Coast however he did take two minutes of his valuable time to make a statement on the unexpected death of Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia, a great man and Patriot.

Obama doesn’t care about the cops. They were sacrificed for his goal of transforming the country into a dictatorship with whites as a servient subclass.
Nice to see, but seriously, why would anyone want Valerie’s charge at a cop’s funeral?
He is singularly UNINTERESTED in protecting true law enforcement...instead, he is on a mission to make everything about race, class, and socio-economic status.
I wouldn’t want him around.
Sheriff DeWees concluded with a postscript:
“I’ll be standing outside in the cold next week with my deputies for the funerals of the Harford Co deputies;
“I’ll save you a spot next to me!”
Obama, Valerie Jarrett and Eric Holder engineered the BlackLivesMatter movement.
Like all rabid lefties, they hate the police as much as they hate the US military.

Larry Hogan is a patriot. Maryland is fortunate if not blessed to have him as governor.
Hope that Sheriff gets re-elected!!!
Maryland has some outstanding sheriffs, which is amazing considering the leftist hell hole the state is.
Amen to that.
The Obama administration doesn’t even try to hide it’s contempt of civility and the war on cops. Silence is golden.

Including the sheriff who lost two deputies this week.
