The poll was not bad. If one looks at individual questions then it is close to my own thinking. I say Rubio was the “debate” if one wants to call it that with Trump Second.

Which person would you trust to nominate Supreme Court Justices. Cruz 17 (1st) Trump 16 (2nd). Rubio 3rd, Bush was last.

wHich candidate has the best chance of winning in November. Ttrump 44%, Rubio 22%, Cruz 14%

Who has the best preparation for President? Kasich 22%, Trump 20%, Cruz 16%

Which candidate best represents your values? Trump 27%, Rubio 16%, Carson 16%

wHich candidate would do the best job on each?
Economy and Jobs Trump 55%, Kasich 19%, Cruz 9%
Terrorism. Trump 40, Cruz 18, Rubio 17
Immigration. Trump 44, Rubio 20, Cruz 13
Bringing needed change. Trump 45, Kasich 15, Rubio 14.

If Cruz wins SC that gives him a strong springboard going into the March 1 primaries. If Trump does not rebound it will come down to Ceuz and Rubio.

If Trrump wins, Cruz is second and Rubio third we are setup form March 1 being a major showdown and margins throughout those primaries are critical.

If Cruz wins and Marco is second Trump is basically done.
If Trump is first and Rubio is second Cruz is basically done.

Kasich only wants to finish 4th in the southern primaries, finish second in Michigan and northeast states on March 1 then pull off Ohio and Florida on March 15.

Defeating the republican establishment should not be your number one priority, as this would indicate that beating the Democrats is at best your second priority.

Presidents Dole, McCain, and Romney strongly disagree with you.

Kasich is SOL as far as the MI primary is concerned.

MI won’t vote for such a quisling in a contested primary!

Yes, but Trump is totally outside the establishment and can't possibly understand what is going on.

Yes Cruz and Rubio know for instance that there are thousands of people over the age of 106 still drawing Social Security checks. Oh no they didn't mention that, Trump did, because being on the inside they are probably ordered not to talk about those things.

We have been promised for 50 years that they would cut waste fraud and abuse then when these guys learn where that money goes they suddenly decide to leave it alone.

We did nothing when it was revealed that the House Bank made loans to House members that did not have to be repaid, and maybe you forgot how the House Post Office allowed a Congressman to bring a donor check to the Post office and buy a single stamp, then receive cash change for the difference. We know that for common voters those acts would be felonies but those insiders received no charges. Is that the kind of politicians that you feel we owe allegiance too, because they know how things operate?

Ted Cruz is a consistent conservative and he will do what conservatives consistently have done for the last 50 years. I know it looks corrupt and all that, but it is consistent and that is what we need!

It is indeed consistent everything we want to get better consistently gets worse. We had a moment with Reagan and the GOPe fought him harder than they have fought Obama. We have another such moment now, we will either grasp it or politics as a solution is over.

I sincerely believe Cruz can never be elected in the General, therefore I will not support Cruz because support for Cruz is just support for whomever the GOPe plans to sneak in past Trump.

I hate that this cycle has turned into a circular firing squad once more where we do all the opposition research for the enemy all for free. Trump is not the smartest bulb in the lamp, but he is electable and I don't believe he wishes any harm on the country. He may do something stupid, but he won't do anything traitorous.

Funny you should mention that because Cruz admitted to lying to kill a bill.

Under any other circumstances, knowingly making proposals to legal documents (which is what a bill is) under false pretenses isn't a simple white lie, it's fraud.

I agree. The sun is down here in Arizona, so I can go back to being for Donald Trump. I take one day a week off to be for Cruz. When I am for Cruz I get nice replies, like yours, that talk about issues and records from people who don’t call me names. But, back into the fray! GO TRUMP!
