Kasich coming in second in NH could not have worked
out any better for Trump.

This is posted to start a discussion not a fight. I seen the posting comment and was curious. So I headed over to RealClear and looked at the polls. The polls changed a little since Feb. It looks like the media's pumping of Rubio and attacking Trump is have some affect.

it’s actually a 17 point lead.. evidently they don’t understand that if you are going to round up Cruz’s number of 19.7 to 20 then you certainly have to round up Trump’s number of 36.8 to 37

I don’t know why, but most of the flat lines at the bottom kinda make me happy.

That graph is distorted by PPP. Which is an obvious outlier. I hate to give the devil its due, but Huffpo has a better graph

All of the polls show Trump climbing and Cruz static and Rubio losing steam. The GOP voters are beginning to coalesce around Trump now and after SC it will be a runaway train.

Have you seen this?
Kid #1: “look what I got, it’s the Donald Trump action figure”
Kid #2: “No way that’s yuuuuuge! What does it do?”
Kid #1: “He pretends to be a Republican!”
{all the kids laugh}
And it just gets funnier from there.

No the drop is from Feb polls. They are the average of the three newest. Still they might be push polls to try to force a trend (all main stream media).

The problem with RCP is it only includes certain polls, and excluded Emerson, which was dead on with IA and correct (if slightly low) for Trump in NH. So if you factor Emerson in, those numbers look a lot better.

The good news is that Silver has Trump up. The bad news is, . . . it’s Nate Silver.
