The New York billionaire received 36 percent of support, well ahead of U.S. Sen. Ted Cruz of Texas, who has backing to 20 percent of likely Republican primary voters in the poll from Opinion Savvy.

Somebody should give Cruz a card saying, Sorry, position filled.

Cruz needs to realize its just not his time NOW, take 4 years to learn a few things, get his act together and then try again.

In New Hampshire, the GOP Establishment and Cruz tried to “Jump The Trump”, but he won by 21, and “GOT THE BUMP”!!!

Jeb, Cruz and Rubio finish about tied for 3rd behind Kasich.

Trump won going away, Cruz got no bump from Iowa at all.

In fact people from Iowa are in SC spending $1.5 million on ads telling how Cruz cheated, lied, and intimidated voter before with mail, and at the Caucus giving “false Witness” saying untruths.

I think the numbers are saying that Conservatives are declining as a percentage of the GOP electorate.

The brand has been gravely damaged by RINO pretenders.
Conservatives need to get to work to rehab the image with typical voters.

I think the numbers are saying that South Carolina voters are sick and tired of professional politicians and are willing to take a chance on a real businessman to lead this country out of the present chaos. They are sick of the destruction of our country and want a REAL AMERICAN, warts and all, to bring us back to our foundations.
We in Florida have the same sentiment.

What’s more obvious: the media’s dislike of Trump or their dislike of having their quadrennial horse race ruined?

I looked at the internals. Not a good poll for my candidate, Ted Cruz. Still, he will carry on and hopefully his ground game can make up some of the difference. A victory in the face of these numbers is going to take something approaching a miracle.

Trump fans: Proceed to gloat.

I don’t know, the poll registered a pretty high percentage of self-identifying conservatives:

Very Conservative 327 42.0%
Somewhat Conservative 279 35.8%

Not good for my guy, Ted Cruz.

Rush led off his show yesterday repeating that bogus poll that Bill Krystal came up with.

Today, Rush has not mentioned that new poll and just said he would cover the Republican election Monday.

Trying to censor Trump’s improving numbers.

Today he is talking about the color of NFL football jerseys.
