The rockerâs latest vile campaign targets Jews, but it hurts Second Amendment supporters most
Mark Twain, who knew a thing or two about idiots, famously warned his readers not to argue with fools; do that, he quipped, and onlookers may not be able to tell the difference. So it's with much trepidation that I'm addressing Ted Nugent's latest outrage: having previously written a song that advocated handcuffing and raping underage girls, and having allegedly put his passion for prepubescence into practice by engaging in sexual conduct with a twelve-year-old--illegal, immoral, inconceivable to any conscientious human being--the degenerate rocker posted anti-Semitic drivel on his Facebook page earlier this week, accusing twelve prominent Jews of being "nazi gungrabbers" and overall traitors to the American project of life, liberty, and the pursuit of firearms.

Now, I love guns. I am a proud and enthusiastic member of the National Rifle Association. I believe every man, woman, and child--particularly those who happen to be Jewish--should be well-armed and well-trained. I am about as rigid an advocate of the Second Amendment as one can get, and I have no particular political love for the twelve officials and activists named by Nugent. And it's because I hold these views that I feel very comfortable saying that Ted Nugent isn't just a disgraceful human being (which is self-evident) and anti-Semitic scum (which should be obvious by his decision to refer to Michael Bloomberg as "the mayor of Jew York City" and an Israeli agent who helped orchestrate 9/11) but also a real shande to anyone seriously committed to the right to bear arms.
The liberal caricatures aside, most of us gun enthusiasts are reasonable, responsible people, and many of us see owning a firearm as both an expression and a protection of our liberty. The freedom we wish to defend is the freedom to live safely and with dignity without undue harassment. When a bigoted buffoon like Nugent makes his incendiary statements, he's not only embodying the vilest stereotypes used to marginalize pro-gun arguments but also undermining the very foundation of the pro-gun argument itself.
Nevermind. This is America. When hateful pricks like Nugent rise using poisonous propaganda, at least we'll be able to arm and defend ourselves.
Why post this if you have no personal comment or thoughts about what the author says? If I wanted a “link” to some blog or webpage, I’d just go look at Drudge Report.
Ted Nugent being an anti-semite means absolutely nothing. He’s a guitar player.
Hillary being an anti-semite is a HUGE problem.
Liel Liebovitz (if that’s his real name) should have heeded (hed?) Twain’s advice. I can’t tell who the fool is.
I noticed the writer didn’t even bother paraphrasing the ‘outrages’. I wonder if the offense is a perceived one or a missing context?
However, do we know if he actually said “Jew York City”
You don't get more anti-Semitic than Bathhouse Barry but gun ownership has skyrocketed under his lead-from-behindership.
Criticizing a Jewish person does not equate with anti-antisemitism.
Read the story. Nugent is not anti-Jew in the slightest. Checking the poster now...
Criticizing a Jewish person does not equate with antisemitism.
It doesn’t matter if he is or isn’t so why are we even talking about it?
He can’t hold a candle to Roger Waters in this department.

As I've noted on the other thread, I've never voted for Ted to be on the NRA board, unfortunately there's not much a member can do in dissent. His issues with underage girls has been long known, as has been his aggressive, successful effort to avoid the draft by recreating himself as a filthy drug addled teenager. There was always plenty here for the NRA and politicians to avoid his support, before his efforts to distribute neo Nazi propaganda and demean slaughtered Jews (Christians too?) as having no souls. It's a shame, but his actions does play into the stereotype of gun owners as bigots despite the criticism he's received form some gun rights groups, excluding the NRA.
Yes, why ARE we talking about it?
Ted is a great American.
done bumped ur head
True, truth is a lot of Jewish people are hyper liberal. See Bernie, always afraid of another holocost sp?
He posted an image that said ‘Jew York City’ and ‘9/11 Israeli agent’ under Bloomberg’s picture. It also had some other weirdness, like Rahm Emmanuel was a soldier for the IDF during the 1st Gulf war. The big caption at the top said ‘whose really behind gun control, with all the liberal Jews under it with the Israeli flag on their pictures.
His facebook page now has all these wackjob mouthbreathers that were attracted to ‘the 9/11 Israeli agent’ and ‘Jew York city’ dog squeeze. He isn’t repudiating any of that type of garbage I can see. In fact he put up another picture of Jews being policed with stars on with caption ‘soulless sheep’ or some crap.
I would like to know what he has ever said about Jews and Israel in the past. I never got this hit off of him before.
Freegards
Well, I assumed this was some sort of smear, so I went looking.
Take a look at the picture at the link below. The "Jew York City" thing is in the upper left. If Nugent really posted that, then he really is bad news, and the NRA would be much better off without him. And if the picture was faked, Nugent had better get a lawsuit going fast.

“Yes, why ARE we talking about it?”
Good question. I’m a big fan of his music, personally. As far as the man himself, not so much. He is a self proclaimed pedophile and that is a bit of a turnoff to me. Bugged me when Palin aligned herself with him years ago.
That being said, I have no idea what the relevancy of this post is.
