Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “America’s Newsroom,” Rep. Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) said while Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump has “tapped into a legitimate frustration and anger,” his opponent Sen. Sen. Marco Rubio (R-FL) is the GOP’s “best chance to win” in the general election.

I read that Bush is going to go all “scorched earth” against Rubio in SC. After Rubio’s poor showing in NH, and Bush’s all out attack on him there, he’s pretty much done. Last I saw, Trump was crushing both Rubio and Bush in FL by double digits.

Rush was saying Cruz was the closest thing to Reagan, I have listened to Rush fairly faithfully and I don’t get a lot of what some people are saying in being critical of Rush.

I suspect that both Gowdy and Sen Tim Scott were pressured into endorsing Rubio after Iowa. The plan was to end the primary process in South Carolina after Rubio had an amazing result in New Hampshire.

Now, coming into their home state where their endorsement might have carried some weight, they find they've wasted it after Rubio's debate debacle.

The best thing either of them could do now is to sit down and shut up.
