Bush loyalists concede the end may be in sight
Politico ^ | 2/7/16 | ALEX ISENSTADT

Frustration inside Bush world has begun to spill into open view, with even the most outspoken family loyalists admitting it may soon be time to move on.

With the New Hampshire primary just days away and polls showing him still trailing Marco Rubio, there is an increasing sense that Jeb Bush is running out of time to demonstrate strength.

Many donors and influential supporters, bound by a deep and longstanding connection to the patrician clan, say they will remain with Bush no matter what. Yet others, deeply distressed by the rise of Donald Trump and Ted Cruz and eager for the Republican Party to rally around a mainstream candidate with viability, say they have come to terms with Bush's long odds and the possibility they will eventually get behind someone else.

They’re gonna have to go put a wooden stake in his heart then, because this putz is not going to go away until he has absolutely NO money behind him. He will rationalize his chances all the way through Super Tuesday and beyond if they don’t.

He always wears the expression on his face of someone who just discovered that his lunch was stolen.

To me, he looks like a schoolyard bully who suddenly realizes he’s surrounded by his victims and has his hands tied.

... with the ghost of Terri Schaivo enjoying it all from the sidelines.

He will stay through SC. He owes that much to Graham.

My guess is he’ll stay in at least until Florida.
The FLGOP may have some tricks up their sleeve.

Hopefully, he will stay in for a few more primaries and spending the dollars his GOPe and open Border elite thugs have wasted on him.

Each $ he wastes, is one less $ they have, as we move along in this election.

That's what I keep saying. People keep telling me that after New Hampshire the party establishment will force Jeb out of race. The Bush family IS the party establishment, nobody is going to make Jeb get out of the race until Old man Bush and George W. give their blessing. It wouldn't surprise me if Jeb went all the way to July hoping a brokered convention.

Even with a packed audience he couldn’t sell his brand of malarkey.

I guess if we were Jeb this would all seem like a waking nightmare. But there’s an arrogance in the man that makes the running gags of buffoonery effective.

July? You may be right. His Superpac Guru Murphy always said the strategy was to hang around and chip away a few delegates at a time and hope nobody has a majority come convention time. We’ll see.

The Florida GOP owes Jeb nothing and in fact wants nothing to do with him, especially after he personally directed that the State's pension funds be invested in the now-failed Lehman Brothers, and then Jeb was paid 1.3 million dollars by them for what Trump has correctly labeled a "no show" job.

Jeb Bush's questionable legal actions in the whole affair left the State of Florida staring at about 1 billion dollars in total loss. He is radioactive in the Sunshine State, especially after leaving Terri Schiavo-Schindler to die.

As I've said already, they need to have an intervention for that total phuckwit, that boy ain't right in the head.

Don't forget. Trump managed to get the last boo - and got them to boo him when he reminded them of Cruz's dirty tricks in Iowa. The party of Bush is ok that Cruz hired that piece of filth the cat dragged in Roe as his campaign manager. Dirty work is for the hired help.

Good grief - even your hero there did his own dirt work when he had to.

I'd love to know who Jebito checks in with mentally before he answers debate questions.

Maybe its this guy....

I was thinking it is sort of Larry of the three stooges as mob boss. Or Inspector Clouseau. Maybe Peter Sellers could play him in the movie.

$1.3 M payoff. How small time. You can buy a Clinton for THAT. At least George's baseball venture netted him a real payout.
