...MSNBC moderator Chuck Todd floated the idea near the end of the contest, asking the former secretary of state whether she would try to unite the party by picking the Vermont Senator as her vice president.

"If I'm so fortunate as to be the nominee, the first person I will call to talk about where we go and how we get it done will be Senator Sanders," she said, though she clarified ahead of time that she didn't want to be too presumptuous in discussing VP choices.

Sanders agreed that it was too early to call but echoed Clinton's sentiment...

That scenario would be cause for alarm...because it would motivate many of those leftist nitwits...much like the "first black president" nonsense in 2008.
I likewise hope the absurd sniping between OUR top POTUS candidates comes to a screeching halt soon, too.

Such a mess...this campaigning.

Get all the candidates of all parties in a room. Play draw poker and get it over. Can't be any worse than a coin toss.

I don’t think Sanders has a deep enough pocket to buy the VP slot.

Think of the effort they could save by not having to commit voter fraud on each other.

Translation: “When I am coronated as the rightful nominee I will find a non-white spic or colored man to pick up all the minority votes I can get. The loser liberals supporting Sanders will have no choice but to vote for me.”

Uggh...

She has a myriad of health problems so as VPOTUS she'd pick an septuagenarian older than her G-d forbid she have a health event while POTUS. Let's be honest here, one advantage might be locking up the Jewish vote, given Hillary's "FJB's" comment in the past. Does anyone see this as horrid succession planning that a Fortune 500 or Dow Component Corporation would never approve.

Reagan's words ring true, Who is minding the store?

I always had the impression that Bernie was Hillary's stalking horse.

His job was to guard Hillary's left flank and prevent some unknown community organizer from getting any traction in the campaign.

Could Bernie end up as Hillary's "Slow Joe"? Possibly.

Reminds me of the joke, where the pastor is giving a sermon on a very hot summer day, and it gets so intense, that a choir girl is leaning forward, and starts to fall to the ground, but as luck would have it, her boot gets caught on a nail, holding her from falling, but her dress is now around her neck, with no under wear, and the pastor shouts out "No man shall cast his eyes a-pond that child of GOD, or he shall go Blind!"

And the one old guy say's: well heck, I'll risk one eye!
