Jeb Bush, trailing badly in polls here and itching to get to New Hampshire, used his farewell Iowa campaign event to ask caucus-goers to do what he couldn't: Stop Donald Trump.
"You have a chance to define the next stage of this race," Bush told a ballroom full of supporters in an Embassy Suites hotel on Monday afternoon. "I'm counting on you and I trust you."
The former Florida governor has essentially conceded Iowa, where polls show him in the low single digits. Bush will not be holding a caucus night party, instead leaving the state this afternoon for New Hampshire, where he has planned a town hall event and is waging an aggressive effort.

If Trump wins tonight, the leftists, GOPe and Trump cultists will dance all over conservatism’s grave and rightly so since this alliance would have put a stake thru it using Trump as the vehicle.

That is disturbing. Well Bush is a cooked goose after tonight if not NH. Rubio hasn’t had the Trump treatment yet........oh he will starting tomorrow no matter if he is 1-2-3. Rubio has only been given commercials from Bush and Cruz......Trump is a whole different animal.
If there were only those two candidates — CHOKE CHOKE — I would -— COUGH COUGH — pick Bush — GAG — over Trump. I in no way want Bush to win. It is like I said when McCain and Romney were running: McCain’s ONLY asset was that he was not Romney. Both horrible.
